Hi, Would you mind please replacing the copy of the “Making
Life Work” Thought I sent you earlier today (my time) with the one below?
The link to “Enjoy Being You?” was incorrect. Also, here is some suggested descriptive wording to go with
the title Making Life Work Thoughts in the Directory section: “Motivational
thoughts for the work environment”. Best regards
When you travel on holidays, you have an itinerary. You find
there are places through which you want to hurry and places that are so nice you
decide to stay longer. It’s the same in life. You’re in your present job,
traveling on a life-long journey from your past to your future. You move quickly from jobs you
don’t like and stay longer in those you do like. How well does your present job fit into your life journey
itinerary? It’s a question for every person in your organisation, including the CEO. It’s a
question not only of career development but also personal growth and the search for identity and
purpose in life. Good organisations keep good people when they offer a
working environment in which people can enjoy their personal life journey. That
sort of environment not only encourages good people to stay longer, other good people fight to get in. -
