Enjoy Making Life Work Better

 

It still amazes many people to learn more people visit museums,

art galleries and libraries than attend sporting events. Recreation

still has an image of physical activity and leisure as idle time.

The fact is any intrinsically enjoyable experience is, first and foremost,

an experience of the mind.

 

Instead of asking what someone does for recreation, drop the first two

letters and ask what they do for creation -  how they creatively

express their inner person.  It’s an experience that can be physical,

intellectual, social, manual, environmental, or spiritual.

 

What’s this got to do with work life harmony? When you lose yourself

in an interest you love, you discover the person you love to be - alive, enthusiastic,

energised, optimistic and open to new ideas. You tap an energy source

that makes life exciting. It’s the drive on which business success thrives.

 

Enjoyment is essential to mastering the serious side of life.

It provides the balance that keeps us sane.
