In Praise of Stop Isn't it infuriating how you always seem
to get all the stop lights when you’re running late. You know you’d never get to your
appointment if we didn’t have them, but that doesn’t do much for your frustration. You haven’t any option but
to stop. Of course, you always seem to get all the green lights when you’re not in a hurry. The biggest difficulty in the lifestyle
management business is convincing people to stop. You simply can't plan your lifestyle on
the run. It’s your decision whether to stop and reflect when you’re free to do so, or wait
until there’s no other option because of a breakdown in work, health, or
relationships. Life is, overall, more satisfying when
you build in an expectation of regular stop and go signs. Immediate goals seem then to be more
easily achieved too. Make
the season of Christmas/New Year a time for you to stop, relax and
reflect. I
wish you and the special people in your life a Happy Christmas and a successful
