Why do you work? The obvious reason is money and what the
money can provide. Today’s workers want more than the money – particularly
younger workers. To look deeper, ask a person who cannot find work. Their answers will be many and varied - dignity,
independence, sense of self worth, connection with like-minded others, or any of the many
other virtues that give life meaning for them. We’re hearing lots today that says
not to put your fin Why put all your self-investments into
work? There are many joys in life that money can't buy and desires that work can never fulfill. To
find what gives your life meaning, look beyond the money you make to the benefits you crave –
passions that bring you to life, whether you're at work, home or play. This can help you be clearer about -
what gives meaning to your life and -
the mix of work, home and play interests
that bring life to your meaning.
