Ready or not, the holiday season is here and with it the exchanging of gifts.?  Tired of knick knacks, lotion gift sets, and ties??  Ask for what you really want!?  Yes, it??™s that easy.?  Do you want to travel in the coming year??  Tell your family and friends that you??™d like a gift certificate to a travel web site such as Travelocity.com or an American Express gift check.?  Do you want to take karate lessons or to take a ride in a hot air balloon??  Ask for gift certificates or American Express gift checks! (Helpful hint: Make sure you tell everyone what place you have selected so you don??™t get gift certificates for 5 different hot air balloon places.)?  If just a few friends or family members do this you will be getting something you really want and they will get the satisfaction of knowing they gave you something you really wanted.?  Don??™t forget to send thank you cards and pictures when you redeem your gifts!

The Aladdin Factor by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen is a brief two disc set about learning how to ask for what you want and need.?  The whole genie of the lamp theme on the first disc is a little corny, but there is some useful information on how to ask for what you want.?  Check it out from your local library.
