All you need to do is take a old towel, & a iron.
Set the iron on low - med heat, put towel over the wax, then rub out the wax w/ the iron.
All the wax should get absorbed in the old towel.
*Another way to get onions off your hands run a stainless steel knive or whatever under running water and let it flow onto your hands.
Homemade Lemon Oil Thanks Moerlina
For an inexpensive furniture polish, mix one part lemon juice with 3 parts olive oil. Think salad dressing. Put lemon juice in food processor and start processing, slowly adding olive oil. It will last for up to six months in fridge and is nice smelling too. Much cheaper than prepared polishes!
**10 Tips for Arm & Hammer Baking Soda/www.armandhammer.com*
1. Hand-washing Dishes and Pots & Pans
Give yourself a hand! Add 2 heaping tablespoons ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda (along with your regular dish detergent) to the dish water to help cut grease and foods left on dishes, pots and pans. For cooked-on foods, let them soak in the ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda/detergent water first, then use dry ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda on a clean damp sponge or cloth as a scratchless scouring powder!
2. Deodorize and Clean Dishwashers
Relax. There's no need to run the dishwasher just yet! Sprinkle a handful of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda on the dishes or in the bottom of the dishwasher to absorb food odors just lingering in the dishwasher. Double duty! 3. Deodorize Drains and Garbage Disposals
What goes down sometimes comes back up. To deodorize your drains and disposal, and keep lingering odors from resurfacing, pour ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda down the drain while running warm tap water. Baking Soda will neutralize both acid and basic odors for a fresh drain. Here’s a tidbit to remember - when replacing your box of Fridge-n-Freezer® Odor Absorber (every 3 months!) pour the contents of the old box down the drain to get a little extra mileage.
4. Gently Clean & Freshen Baby's Laundry
ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda is gentle enough for even the tiniest baby clothes, yet effective enough for big baby odors. For tough stains add 1/2 cup of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda with your liquid laundry detergent, or a 1/2 cup in the rinse cycle for deodorization! For cloth diapers, dissolve ? cup of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda in 2 quarts of water and soak diapers thoroughly.
5. Carpet Spills
Uh-oh! Did you drop that treat right by your feet? Clean and deodorize spills or accidents on carpets by soaking up as much of the spill as possible. Clean the stain according to the manufacturer’s directions and allow to dry. When the area is completely dry, sprinkle liberally with ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda and let sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming it up. Great for pet and kid messes too! Check for color-fastness first before applying ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda.
6. Clean Walls

8. Deodorize Diaper Pails
Whoa! A smell this powerful needs to be neutralized. Sprinkle ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda liberally over dirty disposable diapers in the diaper pail. If you are using cloth diapers, soak dirty diapers in a solution of 2 quarts of warm water and ? cup of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda.
9. Cleaning Baby Equipment
Little hands mean lots of exploring. Safely clean your baby’s area (play pen, changing table, crib, stroller, car seat and high chair) with ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda. **Some frugal Easter basket ideas include:**
1. Books - stack up on used children books from garage sales, thrift
shops and library book sales during the year. Keep a big stack of
books stored away in a closet and then you will have some inexpensive
books add to Easter baskets and Christmas stockings.
2. Crayons and a coloring book.
3. Modeling clay and some interesting mold and sculpture tools
4. For older children, balloons and a small pump to make balloon
animals and sculptures.
5. A bottle of bubbles and some special wands for blowing bubbles.
6. A package of seeds, and child sized gardening gloves and garden
tools.
7. Punch balls.
8. If you live in an area where it is getting warm enough to go to
the park or beach by Easter, then assorted sand toys and beach balls
are always a fun gift.

on sale or in bulk. One of the stores in our area has big grab bags
of marked down and discontinued toys and favors for a few dollars
each. When our kids were small I would buy several of these bags and
use the toys for rewards extra good behavior, as special gifts on
plane trips, for Easter baskets and as stocking stuffers.

other interesting place where your kids can take pictures.
For a few healthy treats besides colored eggs, try to add in items
with some nutritional value, such as chocolate covered almonds or

Separate your clothes into four stacks: 1) items that you love and always wear; 2) items that look better on the hanger, that you don't really like, or that don't fit well and never wear; 3) items that fall in between these two categories; and 4) items that need repair.
1. Examine the first group. Keep the pieces that look great on you, are in good condition (not faded, etc.), and still have many wears left in them. Place clothing that doesn't make the cut into a side pile.
2. Go through the second pile, and decide what items are in good enough condition to donate to local charities, trade with friends, or consign.

-1 1/2 LB. GROUND BEEF
-3/4 CUP CHOPPED ONION
-1 GREEN PEPPER- CHOPPED SMALL
-4 CUPS SPAGHETTI SAUCE
-1/4 CUP CHOPPED CELERY
-1/2 TSP. SALT
-1TSP. PAPRIKA
DIRECTIONS:
-COOK MACARONI TO DESIRED DONENESS.
-IN LARGE SKILLET, BROWN GROUND BEEF WITH ONION & CELERY.
-STIR IN SPAGHETTI SAUCE WITH SALT AND PAPRIKA.
-STIR IN COOKED MACARONI AND COOK UNTIL HEATED THROUGH.

2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
5 cups all-purpose flour
6 soft-boiled, dyed eggs (nontoxic dyes only)
1 egg
1 tsp. water
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the milk and heat until just warm. Pour the mixture into the bowl with the yeast. Add the sugar, eggs and salt, and stir well. Mix in the flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough is formed. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, adding flour if the dough is too sticky to handle. Knead until it becomes elastic. Place it in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and set in a warm, draft-free area until doubled in size (about 1 hour). Punch down the dough. Divide it into three equal parts and roll each piece into a 20-inch-long strand. Lay the strands side by side and gently braid them. (To avoid tearing the dough, braid from the middle out to an end; repeat with the other side.) Place the woven
dough in a wreath shape on a greased cookie sheet, tucking the ends under. Sink the eggs into the dough. Cover and let rise until double in size. Beat 1 egg with 1 teaspoon water and brush the wash over the dough. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

1 lb boneless chicken breasts
olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
salt
pepper
1 pinch cayenne (optional)
1 bell pepper, any color, seeded and sliced in strips
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1 tomato, seeded and diced
4 flat bread
Cilantro Cream Sauce:
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 cup finely chopped cilantro
1 chopped green onion
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
salt
pepper
Mix sauce ingredients together and refrigerate.
In a non stick skillet over moderate heat warm each flat bread on both sides until warm and soft. Remove from pan, cover with foil and place under a kitchen towel to keep warm.
Pound chicken breasts a little to flatten and create a more uniform thickness.
Mix ginger, paprika and garlic powder together, adding salt, pepper and cayenne to taste. Drizzle a little olive oil on the breasts and rub with the spice mixture.
Slice each breast into strips and saute until browned and thoroughly cooked. Add a little oil if needed to prevent sticking. Remove chicken from pan or push to the sides, away from hottest part of pan.
Add onions and bell peppers to pan and cook just until crisp tender or cooked to your liking.
To serve: Spread cream sauce on a warm flat bread. Add chicken strips, peppers, onions and tomato. Top with additional cream sauce, more salt, pepper or spices if desired. A squirt of fresh lime is also very tasty and refreshing. Customize it to your liking.
Fold in half like a taco or roll up like a burrito or a wrap.

Beef Filets in Balsamic Sauce
Ingredients
4 Tbsp Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 Tbsp Butter
1 Yellow onion, medium and sliced thin
pinch Salt
pinch Black pepper
1/2 cup(s) Dry white wine
1/2 cup(s) Marsala wine
1/2 cup(s) Beef broth
2 Tbsp Colavita Balsamic vinegar
6 Beef Tenderloin filets (6 oz each)
dash Parsley, finely chopped
6 Fresh rosemary sprigs
Sauce Preparation
Heat oil and butter in large saut? pan over medium heat. Add sliced
onions, salt, and pepper; cook 10 minutes or until caramelized
(softened and golden browned), stirring frequently.
Add wines, broth, vinegar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
for 10-15 minutes or until sauce is reduced by half.
Beef Preparation
Lightly rub filets with oil; season with salt and pepper. Grill to
preferred temperature.
Place onions and sauce on a platter and top with steaks. Garnish with
parsley and rosemary.
