Great talent may not be necessary to be a successful writer.<br>
Writing successfully requires hard work, stern discipline,<br>
dedication to craft, and faith in yourself--all of which must be<br>

WORK--<br>
&nbsp;In addition to traveling a bunch this summer, I ve also been meeting myself<br>
coming in and out the front door. &nbsp;I m currently working on the following<br>
books: GOD IN THE FOXHOLE (Pocket), the final production editing; SANCTUARY<br>
(Medallion), a SciFi, my second; possible new action-adventure Christian series<br>
(Tyndale); a nonfiction book on all our soldiers who keep being charged with<br>
murder in Iraq; DEVOTED TO FISHING (AWOC); the Sasquatch book. . . And a number<br>
of other ideas and possible projects. &nbsp;I m also writing a number of magazine<br>
articles for: LOST TREASURE; SOLDIER OF FORTUNE; BACKPACKER; MATURE LIVING. . .<br>
&nbsp;It s a tough way to make a living, traveling and writing, but somebody has to<br>
do it. &nbsp;I always thank God that I m allowed to do it.<br>

BIGFOOT BOOK --<br>

In research for our book about Bigfoot (AKA Sasquatch), Dan Case<br>
and I have so far traveled all over the West and Southwest and<br>
interviewed scores of people. &nbsp;We've been invited to a Bigfoot<br>
Conference in Texas, and I've accepted an invitation to accompany<br>
a Bigfoot expedition in Washington State during which calls,<br>
bait, cameras and other sophisticated methods will be used in an<br>
effort to capture Bigfoot on film. &nbsp;Sounds like great fun.<br>
