1. Name and Description of your Ezine The first thing a potential subscriber sees is an Ezine Name, so it should grab subscribers attention. It is important to include not only your company's name or your site, but also formulate the theme of the ezine clearly. It should not sound like an advertisement, but you need to state what information subscribers will receive, and why it is useful for them. Good Example: Chocolate Recipes      This ezine sends out chocolate recipes, cooking/baking tips, monthly chocolate prize & a couple of interesting links Mon-Sat.                         What's New @ Sandbox Greetings      Be the first to view and send our newest greetings to your friends, family and co-workers! We offer a wide variety of cards featuring Flash animation, Java effects, Heart-warming verses and Poetry combined with beautiful graphics and professionally composed music. When you don't know how to say it, say it with a Sandbox Greeting! New! Ezine Logo To make your ezine stands out in Zinester Directory, be sure to set a logo for it! To upload and image or link to it, please visit "Ezine Settings" section in your publisher's interface at Zinester.com. 2. Subscription Form and Subscribers Counter The easier your visitors can subscribe to your ezine, the more new subscribers you will get. So make sure to place a subscription form on each page of your web-site, preferably above the fold (i.e., the area visible on a page without scrolling down). It is important to include a link to the ezine archives in the subscription form. In this case your site visitors will be able to look through the previous issues and will be more likely to subscribe to it.      Where can I get a HTML-code for web subscription form? Moreover, your ezine would be announced in "Zinester Ezine Directory" Newsletter that has more then 53,000 subscribers. Depending on the ezine's theme and its description, you can get several hundreds of new subscribers after the announce!      Ezine Directory Rules New! Ask Zinester

You ask: If I post HTML emails only, what will receive my subscribers with "plain text" preferences? We answer: It depends on the ezine format you have chosen when registering an account at Zinester.com. Currently the following formats are available: HTML only, Plain Text only and Both. If your ezine's format is set to "HTML Only", then all of your subscribers will get an issue in HTML (showing images, colors, type fonts, and other graphics), no matter what their subscription preferences are. But if you have chosen "Both HTML and Plain Text Formats", it is a different situation. In this case our system will automatically generate a plain text version for those subscribers that preferred it.
