2012 Mayan Prophecy Unfolds

Magnetic forces in space have twisted a nebula into the amazing shape of a strand of DNA.The Mayans predicted a 'serpent rope' from the center of the galaxy would appear around the 2012 date.

In space.com, Bjorn Carey quotes astronomer Mark Morris as saying, "Nobody has ever seen anything like that before in the cosmic realm. Most nebulae are either spiral galaxies full of stars or formless amorphous conglomerations of dust and gas…What we see indicates a high degree of order."

DNA, which is usually in the form of a double helix, was discovered by researchers James D. Watson and Francis Crick in the 1950s. It contains the genetic instructions specifying the biological development of all cellular forms of life.

An elevation of consciousness is unfolding right before our eyes, highlighted by a flurry of new discoveries about the Milky Way galaxy. These discoveries can aid our search for higher consciousness, and that the past can help us, too, because there is evidence that past civilizations possessed great wisdom about man's relationship to and connection with the universe and the energies in it that affect our minds.
