Nothing is More Important than NOW
Make up your mind that nothing is more important than how I feel now, because now is everything.

Norah Vincent: Self-Made Man
Norah Vincent is a female lesbian writer who spends a year-and-a-half as a man, Ned, experiencing an all-male bowling league, strip clubs, dating women, a monastery, aggressive direct sales work, and a men's group. As an experiment in learning as much as she could about how men are treated by each other and by women, and recounting those experience back to us for our own reflection, Self-Made Man: One Woman's Journey Into Manhood and Back Again is a worthwhile read. This is not a review of the book as much as wanting to point out the energetic experience s/he had, from my perspective as an emotional freedom coach.

Special Financial Arrangements
If you are ready for coaching and team membership... but simply cannot afford the full monthly fee (yet!)... I am open to making special financial arrangements. As long as there is a good fit between what you want to accomplish and our services, I am confident we can work something out.

Photo Tapping with EFT
On the journey to true emotional freedom using EFT, it is important to TEST. For example, after working through specific events, we might vividly imagine the scenes to see if our body or emotions speak up. But what about certain time periods that might seem hazy?

Healing Missing Mother Syndrome with EFT
Growing up without a loving, caring mother implies much more than lacking a same-sex role model. It is devastating. Since the mother is the first basic caretaker, losing her--in an emotional or a physical way--starts a nightmare of deprivation for a child. In a way, it never ends. Many negative conditions and feelings experienced later in life have their roots in this extremely traumatic experience.

Relieving Travel Stress and Fears with EFT
I am about to travel overseas and I always find going through airports extremely stressful although I am not quite sure why it disturbs me so much... How can I use EFT to help me feel better about the trip?

Gymnastics Fears and Specific EFT Words
'If you are going to be terrific with EFT, you have to be specific!' I agree. And the reason you have to be specific is... to open up the energy system. In this article we see how narrowing down the specific fear for gymnast Kerri helped her return to doing back-flips with confidence.

Relieving OVERWHELM with EFT
What causes us to become overwhelmed? Sometimes basic anxiety overwhelms us; sometimes feeling overwhelmed is from a simple math problem...we have too much to do in too few hours, and other times, we feel overwhelmed and stuck when we feel inadequate as a result of comparing ourselves to others. No matter where it comes from, feeling overwhelmed will INHIBIT your ability to attract your desires right now.

Probing for the Core Emotional Issue
Q. I have this chronic physical problem that has not responded to any treatments. I feel there may be an emotional cause, but I don't know how to figure out what it might be. How can I use EFT for it if I don't know the emotions behind it? A. One way to probe for a 'core emotional issue' that may be behind a stubborn physical symptom is to ask two companion questions.

Fear of Flying and The Dark Shed Incident
Our logical mind often cannot make a connection between past events and current behavior. This is where working with a coach can help you explore where in your energy system the disruption can be tapped on effectively with EFT. In this report by UK EFT practitioner Alan Morison, we see how Janice's discomfort about flying was tied to a vague, undefined feeling that 'something might happen.' When we ask the question, 'What does this remind you of?' we see that Janice's inner intelligence brought up a seeming unrelated trauma.

Using EFT on Pregnancy Fears
I believe that teaching each pregnant mother how to use EFT on her fears and limiting beliefs can allow more children to be born naturally, with fewer medical interventions required. The power of thought, especially the practiced thoughts of a Creator (as all mothers are by definition), does have a direct impact on what transpires. We know by the Law of Attraction that what we focus on gets bigger, and we draw more of those experiences to ourselves. EFT helps mothers to focus their energy on thoughts that make them feel good.

Limiting Your Talents and Genius
What I see from an energy perspective is extremely gifted people energetically making life harder. We are so free, we can absolutely challenge ourselves (to near death even)! We can attract to us really dramatic experiences and beat the drum of them to show, 'Hey, it wasn't easy for me either!!!' I have no judgment about that, yet I ask my clients whether that is truly their heart's desire. Are they willing to consider allowing it to be easy?

Tap for Cravings During TV Commercials
Think about it... TV commercials are designed to make an emotional appeal. You'll have more excitement in your life if you drink Mountain Dew. The babes will love you if you drink the right beer. Life is good as long as you have a Whopper, fries, and a giant soda by your side. TV watching is sedentary, true, but what really gets people craving (and eating) are the highly targeted ads that effectively get you tuned into certain emotions (including fear emotions like the fear of being "left out of the fun and pleasure). What a perfect time to use EFT! Take whatever you are feeling, especially any food cravings, and tap during the commercials!

Resolved: I Choose To Feel Good!
So often when we set life goals or make New Year's resolutions, they are around either Big Things We Want or Big Things We Must FIX. I propose you join with me in a different kind of personal FOCUS for 2006: 'I Choose To Feel Good!'
