G'Day All With our weather being really hot, no one wants to cook. Apparently we don’t have a heat wave until we’ve had 3 days over 35°C - well, I think we
can call this a "heat wave" then. So, don't forget about my catering services. buster style. 10 Kersfontein Bush Vine Shiraz 2004 - John Platter 4 stars @ R40 Unmistakable varietal signatures ' smoked meat & plum, peppery sniff ' on a generous, fruit-sweet palate. 13.5% alc Vista fails to 'wow' the online world While Microsoft trumpeted Vista worldwide yesterday, the Internet abounded with postings from people unimpressed or downright disappointed with the new operating system. West Coast National Park where superb views are offered to visitors throughout the Park including:
Seeberg, where on a clear day you can see Table Mountain and the Cedarberg as well as the southern part of the lagoon. Atlantic view overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain is also visible; Plankies Bay
Then we leave the park and head towards Yzerfontein. Yzerfontein's coastline has both rocky and sandy white beaches. Excellent view points from Pearl Bay Heights - from where you have an unspoilt view of Cape Town?s Table Mountain in the south and Dassen Island in the west.
We then head inland towards the village of Darling. Darling is rich in art and culture.and lies between vineyards and golden wheat fields.

An Ostrich Farm - For many years the Westcoast Ostrich Show Ranch has been offering a unique experience to visitors of the Western Cape. The ranch stocks a variety of ostrich species and other birds, which include, the Westcoast white ostrich, dwarf ostriches, black-neck ostriches, emus, rheas and peacocks. The highlight of the trail is the ostrich show, where each member of the tour has the opportunity to sit on a live ostrich, stand on an ostrich egg, feed an ostrich, all with the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain.
