Teamers!

First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PJ!In case you were wondering, today Pj became an old man. Send him your birthday wishes at www.myspace.com/punchline. Now, onto the goods??¦

Thanks to everyone that signed up to do promo for the Halifax tour! All of the materials have left FBR headquarters already. If you have not received your package yet, be on the lookout- it should be coming soon. To those of you that signed up to promote one of the days at the beginning of the tour, I'm sorry that you did not receive anything in the mail. All of the tour materials didn't get into the office until AFTER the tour had already started. Don't worry though, we'll find a way to make it up to you.

Has anyone picked up Alternative Press ??“ Issue #210.2 (January 2006: My Chemical Romance on the cover)? If so, I'm sure that you were just as surprised as I was to see "The Most Anticipated Albums of 2006" article with ZERO Punchline lovin'. I say we give 'em a piece of our minds.

MISSION (with a catch!):Put your creative thinking caps on and write a letter to Alt. Press telling them EXACTLY how displeased you are that Punchline wasn't featured in this article. With your 37 (everywhere) cent stamps, send the letters off to AP.Here's the address:

Alternative Press

1305 West 80th Street, Suite 2F

Cleveland, OH 44102-1996

Send me a picture of your letter and the envelope with the stamp on it.In exchange, I'll give you a special password that you need to view an exclusive video from Steve along with video footage from the first date of the Halifax tour!

I've attached the letter that I wrote to the magazine along with a few others that Lisa made up. If you're not feeling terrible creative, feel free to take one of them and send it in!

Dear AP,

As a loyal reader of the magazine for some time now, I am saddened to say that I faced my first major disappointment with the release of the "Most Anticipated Releases of 2006" (AP 210.2). What the 50+ page spread failed to include was the album that I am most looking forward to in 2006, Punchline's "37 Everywhere" (Fueled By Ramen Records - 03.21.06).

I am very curious to know what the basis was for selecting the 59 bands that grace the pages of this article. There are many overrated bands in the industry that are lacking the musical integrity that Punchline carries. The same drawn out melodies and breakdowns before the final chorus can be heard by more than one of the bands listed within this article. If avid listeners are really looking forward to hearing the SAME album by the SAME band released in a DIFFERENT year, please point me in their direction.

Punchline is not your "average pop-punk band". Through their meaningful lyrics and precise harmonies, they bring something new to the table each time. AP has caught on to Punchline once before with their rating of 4 out of 5 on their previous release, "Action". Where's the love this time? There is not a doubt in my mind that this band can achieve anything they put their minds to.

Normally, I would applaud you on another article wonderfully pieced together. However, I am sorry to report that this one is undeserving of praise, not just because you excluded Punchline but because you excluded many other deserving bands.

Dear AP,

I was so excited when? I saw the article on the most anticipated albums of the year (AP 210.2). Then I got to the end of the bands and saw PUNCHLINE was missing! What the heck?! How can you put Good Charlotte and not Punchline?! The only people anticipating the Good Charlotte album are my 13 year old cousin and Hillary Duff.

Dear AP,

Do? you stand for Apple Pudding? Because Alternative Press would never miss out on something as sweet as Punchline's? upcoming and highly anticipated? album "37 Everywhere". ??¦or do you stand for Ass Punch? Because that's what you'll receive if you keep forgetting about Punchline.

Dear AP,

I love you, I really do. But right now I'm going to have to say I'm sorry. We're in a fight. We'll make-up once you apologize for forgetting about the album I'm most anticipating: Punchline's "37 Everywhere". What was that about? Unforgivable.

Dear AP,

It seems as though you've failed to please me this time around. I'll cut to the chase. Most Anticipated Albums of '06? Forgetting someone?! YES! My favorite band, Punchline. Their new album "37 Everywhere" is coming out in March. They've worked so so hard on it and they started playing a song or two from the album in concert. And let me tell you, this album is going to rock like nothing else. So please don't forget about them again. It hurts me. playing a song or two from the album in concert. And let me tell you, this album is going to rock like nothing else. So please don't forget about them again. It hurts me.

In other non-related Punchline news, Elyse typed a 23 page paper in less than 24 hours??¦ AMAZING.

That's it from this end.As always, check out the latest pics on the buzznet to see what we've been up to. I have six finals next week and I'm not sure where to begin. If you see me on AIM, yell at me and tell me to study, or just say hi!

Later!

Amanda
