GOTHAM SCREEN SCRIPT CONTEST - CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS September 15, 2007 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - http://www.gothamscreen.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ++ If you already submitted your screenplay(s) to the GOTHAM SCREEN SCRIPT CONTEST, please disregard this call for entries. ++ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear friends, screenwriters and filmmakers, The final submission date for this year's GOTHAM SCREEN screenplay contest has been set for September 15, 2007. Set up by a group of Gotham based producers and productions companies, the GOTHAM SCREEN screenplay contest is specifically targeted at writers who don't have agency or management representation yet but would otherwise have the talent and craft to make it in an increasingly competitive marketplace. GOTHAM SCREEN aims to find writers who are serious about their craft and ready to work with producers in further developing their screenplays and stories. Winning entries in the GOTHAM SCREEN contest will be made available to participating producers and production companies, with a view to developing them further and ultimately getting them produced. Entries are now being accepted, at http://www.gothamscreen.com and are handled in partnership with withoutabox.com While GOTHAM SCREEN is looking for great stories of any kind, they are also encouraging submissions in the following genres, typically in a budget range of 1-10m: FEATURE: General/Thriller/Horror/Family/Drama/Comedy/Romantic Comedy DOCUMENTARY: General/Scientific/Biography Deadlines for submission are: August 31st (early deadline) September 15th (regular deadline) Winners will be announced by November 15, 2007 You can find additional info on the contest, eligibility rules and more at http://www.gothamscreen.com You can also submit directly via the online-submission form on the withoutabox.com website, at http://www.withoutabox.com/login/6257 |
