Hi BestSellerCircle, where everyone in the circle is important to everyone else: I thank God for Him waking each of us up this morning, and having a mind for this vision. It is a vision to pool our power to change our lives. Yes, every life in this group. If you are writer, you will have other writers and promoters who will be there to support you when you are promoting your work. You will never be alone in any city again. If you are a beginner, you will have more experienced people to guide you. If you are looking for an agent or publisher, you have cyber family that can tell you from experience who to turn to. I thank God that you are serious about your writing profession, otherwise, I don't think you would be on this list. This is a "doing" circle of people, always doing something to assist the members. I am the one being assisted this time as the model of what can happen when we pool our efforts. Until September 6, it's my turn. I'm asking each of you to help me become an amazon.com bestseller. You have the power to do that. Will you use it? Overall, you will send a prewritten letter to your family, friends, associates, and groups in your Internet address book. They will not bounce because you are on their list. They will read it and take your recommendation because they know you and we're giving them a lot of prizes, incentives, and valuable e-books, just to purchase the book--one ONE CERTAIN DAY. On that day, September 6, all of us will purchase the book from amazon.com--for 24 hours only. We will make history by pooling our power because no African American fiction has been an amazon.com bestseller--not according to my research on the Internet. Look forward to making history on the 6th of September, and even more in the days thereafter. Today's assignment: 1) If you already bought The Mayor's Wife Wore Sapphires, read it. Finish it. 2) If you don't have the book, go to Amazon.com and order it. You will receive it in about two days. Now take the time to read it. 3) If you have finished reading the novel, sit down and write a one-paragraph review, comment, statement that tells what The Mayor's Wife Wore Sapphires means to African Americans and America. E-mail it to me: BestSellerCircle@yahoogroups.com. Your paragraph will go in a drawing for a cash prize of $50.00, and will be pulled on September 1. 4) When the others who are just ordering the novel receives it and has read, write your paragraph and send it to me, so you can be in the drawing on September 1. 5) E-mail us tomorrow and let us know if you are reading, purchasing, or writing your remarks.
