Hi Everyone, Sunday was beyond belief. I honored Jesus first, no matter how many celebrities were there. That set everything moving in the right direction. The celebrity readers brought the house down! It was warm and sunny, and we were seated theatre style beside a sparkling blue pool with the hillside facing the north. When the celebrity readers finished reading, the applause was uncontainable. We read prologue, 1, 3, 7, 8. That was a lot for a reading, but the crowd begged for even more. Oh, no you don't! My cousin, a publicist, put together the text and I'll post it as soon as she gives it to me and the photographer gives me photos for the newspapers. I have a little movie that I'll post on the net as soon as I get it. I had no press, but still sold out. But the event was about more than money. The Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce invited me to come and talk about an area promo on Friday. That man has his fingers in the mall, Wal-Mart, Borders, Kios in the aisles. He is so impressed with how the social commentary and love story are portrayed in this murder mystery that he wants to help. Now that's what I'm talking about! Everyone looked fabulous as parading waiters served the most sumptious hors d'oeuvres and wine. The whole affair gave a lot to talk about. I got a celebrity bazaar appointment out of it for mid-December. It will take place on December 16 in a mansion in Calabasas. It's not just books being sold, but celebrities showing their line of goods for sale. They will be inviting their friends to buy for Christmas. That should attract buyers who are ready to show off how much they can spend. I hope each one of them buys ten books from me for Christmas presents. I'm getting my Christmas packages fixed up--wrapped and ready to go. I want to sign on the spot too. I'm trying to work out how to have everyone jam around my table. I'll think of something by then. Yes, it was a lot of work to put it together, but it was awesome! Tomorrow, I am starting my Amazon.com bestseller campaign.
