YOU ARE INVITED!!! 

Hi Everyone. Tomorrow, September 7, 2007, 11 a.m. The Gary, Indiana Mayor's office is giving a  reception in my honor to receive the key to the city, my hometown. They are honoring me for my novel, "The Mayor's Wife Wore Sapphires," a mysery sprinkled with social commentary and the formation and nurturing of the New Image Writer's, a group of authors who write positive African American characters.

If you live in Gary, please stop by City Hall Mayor's office to say hello.  If you live nearby, I would love to see you. I am going to visit Roosevelt High School.
