TELECONFERENCE 12.13.07
3) tHE life changing day.
You all know I’m Christian and not afraid to admit it. So I want to point out the 5 things that could lead to your purpose in life--
If you were offered those things would you take them, knowing they are all you need for a whole life? And what's that got to do with writing?
Your writing is your product. Business people have different kinds of products. Us writers have writing as our product. Many literary types say that writing could never be a product. But for writers that's what it is. It is the by-product, coming from the efforts of writers.
5) Let’s talk about creating a good writing product.
You're going to find me nurturing you as long as you come to my teleseminars, go to my blog and follow a few tips.
OK. Down to the business. You can’t expect someone to pay you for something less than a good product. In fact, it had be stellar in today's competition.
I worked ten tears learning all the nuances of writing, not by plan but by trial and error. I share what I've learned so that you will not have to suffer through the process of learning to write well like I did. Now I share that with you. Here's how:
1) Write nonfiction first and get a sustaining income…. write and research something you know
1) Write your entire story in one line 2) Write your entire story in one paragraph 3) Write your entire story in one page—fiction or nonfiction
Write the nonfiction story in 10 days. Polish in four days E-publish in one day Begin to work on your Great American Novel--2 pages a day
The Novel Decide what you want to tell the world--Love is eternal, Love never lasts. You have to work at love ashard as your job or it fallsapart. War is detrimental. Each chapter must prove what you want to say. Once you know what you want to say, and who your main character is--use the one line, one paragraph, one page process to tell your story.
1) Decide what you want to say 2) Write entire story in one line 3) Write the entire story in one paragraph 4) Write the entire story in one page 5) Write ten events in your plot line 6) Outline
Write fast to the end. Fix chapters Edit Polish
Your book is nothing until someone knows about it, which brings us to marketing. During this series, I’m going to share all of my THINK-OUT-OF-THE-BOX MARKETING STRATEGIES.. But if you missed Thursday night's great teleconference, you have to get that information. The most significant marketing tool that has happened on the Internet was demonstrated. It's worldwide, easy, fast and inexpensive.
Jimmy demonstrated how: YOU can pull out of the over-crowded field and brand yourself. He showed how you can become known all over the continents in 90 days. He showed how you can market yourself and your product like a pro that would cost thousands and thousands of dollars. He gave the name of the product and showed how Marti signed up and will be using the product int he next two weeks.
