We always wanted to do something to reward writers for their diligent efforts. And we worked on it for nearly a year. Last October we took 8 New Image Writers into the streets to introduce the public to "NEW IMAGE" African American characters. From there, the ideas of rewarding, and paying good authors for their hard work, and their creativity, just took off.
We started working on the ideas in November 2007 to set up a place, a hang-out, where writers could impact lives and make money from their writings. Real money. With a group of business consultants, and the genius minds of those wanting to help spread the word about improving the African American image, we found volunteered to help make it happen.
There is only one place for writers to get paid if their work by posting. This gives the writer the incentive to write better, and become popular all over the world. You don't have to be African American to post; you have to write well.
If you're not ready just yet, we have classes to help hone your craft in order to join the ranks of "author," not in name only, but getting paid enough to make a living, to buy a car, a home, send children to college..
