The city's salsa scene is buzzing again. There is a new club on the block: POSH! You might remember Bar One, don't you? At173 Eglinton Ave. East (Eglinton at Mt. Pleasant)? Well now it is a fully renovated club under new management and and a new promoter. This time around the club will run under the watchful eye of Frank Bishun. POSH will Open its doors to the public this Wednesday, November 19th. Each of you can get in for free if you say the password: "Be frank" at the door.

While we are on the subject of what's new things: check out the new Latin Magazine: VIDA LATINA. First 5000 issues just hit the street past Saturday, and if you didn't get a hold of one, have a preview on our site.

LAST WEEK:
Last Friday, RED VIOLIN had an exquisite night glorified with Orisha and rumba performances and show-like atmosphere with Osiel an amazing emcee 'not to be missed'and "No Nos Callen" (Don't let us down)- an 8 piece salsa band with Marcus Chonsky. Make sure to check the pictures and see some new faces in the salsa dance competition scene. And while we're on the subject of Red Violin, this upcoming Friday it will host the celebrated all-woman Cuban group D' TALLE, plus 2 dance lessons and surprise performances. So take a leap: reserve your table, so have dinner and enjoy a great visual and acoustic appeal. Regular price is $10 or $7 with ON THE SPOT Membership Card, which can be purchased in Red Violin.
