Brrrrr, still cold in snow-covered Toronto, and from what
we hear, many share our fate. Then aren’t
Salsa and upcoming Valentine’s Day the perfect ways
to keep warm?
That
and the fact that Janet Jackson showed us a boob! (By
mistake, or a rehearsed publicity stunt?) Well, we’re
all talking about it, aren’t we?
I don’t see how this is a big deal:
after all, in Europe people grow up with news and commercials
featuring topless women and barely dressed men, and very
few sexual hang-ups. Everyone knows that, say, the corporate
environment is not the best place for showing your nipples
or donning a see-through outfit, but when you go out, it
is perfectly ok to show off what you have. Good taste is
the key. And JJ and JT are entertainers. How many more centuries
will need to pass before we are comfortable with seeing
a boob in North America? And are there any other ways we
can express our sexuality other than undergoing breast enlargements
or lip enhancements?
Well, just in
time for Valentine’s Day, this past weekend Trista
and Ryan were in Toronto, and next week we’ll have
both the pictures and the questions and answers about their
lives, their honeymoon, and their beautiful story of taking
chances in love.
Stay tuned!
