HOW IS SALSA TO BE DANCED?

Hi everyone!

Surely we are all looking forward to Passover/Easter weekend – either for the fiesta or to just plain have an extra day off!

The past week was full of events – from the Grupo NV concert at Flava Fridays at Palazzo, through to new round of preliminaries at Acrobat on Tuesday, and to the fabulous ReelWorld Film Festival held this past weekend. Best of all, the everlasting question “How is salsa to be danced?” was finally answered. Read our film review of “Dame La Mano” (Give me Your Hand), which was screened at the ReelWorld Festival, and if you are serious about your dancing, make sure to try and see it so you can practice those smooth moves!!

Easter is here, the days are finally a bit longer, and Spring Fever will hit all of us very soon. Are you ready for the dating scene? Should you mix dating and salsa? Read up on players and their classic moves before you venture out this spring to find new love.

We have more “star” items for you in this issue then just a great interview with Grupo NV. Let yourself be touched by the stars with our brand-new April SalsaSCOPES. And if your star-power is not that great, our resident therapist Tony has this month’s answers in Ask Tony.
