Just Too Busy
This time of year in my corner of the world, I'm too busy.  Too busy buying school supplies, too busy packing lunches, too busy catching up from summer vacations, too busy fall cleaning, too busy helping with homework, just too busy. 

I'm definitely too busy to cook.  At least I like to use that excuse, because like many I fall into the 'easy meal' syndrome - the fast food, the frozen dinners, the pizza deliveries.  Eventually I snap myself out of it and get back into crockpot cooking mode.  So here goes!

Fast Crockpot Meals
The following six meals are a few of my favorites not only because they're tasty, but because I can make them in 10 minutes or less.
Ranch Chicken
Garlic Pork Roast
Easy Ham and Potatoes
Chicken Alfredo
Sausage and Spanish Rice
Chicken with Corn and Black Beans

Although the last three are complete meals, add to the first three by picking up ready made pasta or potato salad from your grocer's deli.  I'm a big fan of frozen veggies; steamed in the microwave they take less than 10 minutes.  I also like quick cooking rice and a veggie tray with dip. 

Okay, so I guess I'm not too busy to fit in 10 minutes a day to feed my family a healthy home cooked meal.
