BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! We have discovered paradise. This past weekend we played on Block Island, RI, which may be one of the most beautiful and relaxing places in the world. Though almost the whole island is devoid of air conditioning, we sweaty Amish didn't even mind. Amazing beaches, great food, friendly people, warm waters and a great club... Captain Nick's. We can't WAIT to be back next summer. The Inn on Thursday was a blast as always, and I finally got to hit the buffet they put out for the good volleyball folks that come down and it was GOOD. Some of the best penne vodka and broccoli I have had. This week finds us back in the summer insanity. Tuesday we return to The Borgata for the first of four shows there this month. We can't get enough of the Borgata and luckily they aren't sick of us yet! Wednesday we are playing The Middlesex County Fair in East Brunswick, NJ. This is an earlier show, starting at 8:30 PM, and it is a family event so we will do our best to keep it clean and neat. There are rides, games, and all that good fair stuff! On Thursday we are back at The Inn for one of the FINAL FOUR Thursdays of the summer. They have been FUN and we will miss them once the fall comes. Friday we finally do a solo night at Centro in South Amboy, NJ. We had the honor of opening for THE NERDS there many moons ago. Centro has passes for half off admission on their site (http://www.centronightclub.com/id6.html). Saturday we return to the warm embrace of The Bronx at The Rambling House, one of our favorite rooms that we have missed so over the summer. It is good to be back...
