BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Summer is... OVER. Hard to believe. I just posted a quick message about our summer in the Diary Of An Amish Man at: http://www.amishoutlaws.com/diary.html for your perusal. We have an appropriately light week ahead of us, just three shows in two days. On Friday we return to the Bent Elbo Tavern, home of the Big Muffin Burger, which I have been craving since summer's start. It is truly mana from the heavens, and a hamburger that could launch a fleet of ships. Saturday, during the day, we are local, playing Peter Drames' Birthday Bash at the Pearl River Elks Lodge which is, ironically, in Nanuet, NY and not Pearl River. Who is Peter Drames, you ask? Got me, but apparently he knows how to party as it is $30 all you can eat and drink and he hired us to play! This event is open to the public, so feel free to come on down. You can RSVP if you please at: partiesbyporkchops@hotmail.com Saturday night we are back at The Inn, barely giving you Long Island people a chance to miss us. We'll be upstairs on the big stage that is the bane of our crew's existence as they have to carry gear up a very LARGE flight of stairs, but that is why they get the BIG peanut butter cups, not those mini Halloween ones.
