BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! Oh, how sweet it is to be back up north with our jacket-wearing, beer-guzzling friends, doing gigs that aren't 3 hours away deep into South Jersey (not that we don't love it there, but right now, an hour ride feels like 10 minutes in comparison). Last week we had four performances, one of which was Brother McMullen's "Farewell" party at The Colorado Cafe and it was a GREAT GREAT night. As we stated at the show (and want to state again), Brother McMullen will be back to do the occasional performance with us. Brother Ol' Dirty Abner has been kicking donkey and taking names this week, jumping right into doing 4 shows in a row, traveling as far South as Philadelphia and as far North as Cromwell, CT (that's over 200 miles each way!). Welcome to the whirlwind, Abner, and thank you all for welcoming him with open arms and hearts. Friday finds us trekking back down near Philadelphia to the Bent Elbo Tavern, home of (and I know I keep mentioning this, but I can't help it, I am obsessed!) the BIG MUFFIN BURGER. Compared to last weekend, that is only 145 miles between the two... we are getting soft, I know. Then Saturday, out east to The Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale, LI for the Nutty Irishman Farmingdale's "2nd Anniversary Party and Halloween Bash." Should be one to remember... or forget, depending on how much you have to drink. Also, Roger and JP from WBAB will be "in the house," as the English put it.
