BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! Dangerous times, these. With the decrease in travel from playing all the fall clubs as opposed to the deep south in Jersey, we find ourselves with an overabundance of energy on stage. While this is good for the audience, for burning calories from all the snack cakes we devour on breaks, and for sweating profusely, the down side is we tend to bump into each other and things. Last weekend, Abner got the worst of it: a microphone in the teeth, and a head-butt from Hezekiah's enormous melon. He is okay though. A bit tenderized, but still of good spirit. This week we go into New Jersey and STAY in New Jersey. WaWa here we come! Thursday we return to one of the most beautiful clubs in the universe, Dexter's in Riverdale, NJ. We will actually be there Wednesday night to see King's X and Skid Row as well (more the former than the latter) and Thursday night we get to play that same stage. An honor! Friday we are back at The Colorado Cafe. We miss the Colorado Cafe like a dog misses its bone. We drool, we whine, we roll around in our own poop until we get it back. Saturday is our weekend debut at Pennant East. We played there once before on a Wednesday (yes, a WEDNESDAY) and it was INSANE. Can't imagine what Saturday will be like, but we look forward to finding out!
