BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Quite the historical month, November. Not necessarily for The Amish Outlaws, but for the world in general. Thanksgiving, Veteran's Day, and the lesser-known (but no less monumental) date of November 11th. What happened on this day, you ask? We shall tell you. On this day in 2004, after being told that respected engineer Mark Lucovsky was leaving Microsoft for Google, Microsoft's Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer threw a chair across his office, and exclaimed, "I am going to (expletive) kill Google!" Watch your back, Google. That Ballmer's got a hell of an arm. In events of note in the less lucrative world of The Amish Outlaws, we are at long last returning to Rockland County this week at a brand new venue, The Tappan Pub. Ever since Chubby McGuire's sadly closed its doors months and months ago, we've been hunting for a new home in Rockland and at long last have found one. The Tappan Pub is a BEAUTIFUL room with a big stage, plenty of dance floor and more. We are excited to play there this week, and even more excited to be playing there on NEW YEAR'S EVE! Then it is back to two old haunts on Friday and Saturday, at Centro and The Inn, respectively. We spent every Thursday at The Inn last summer and we have missed it since. It will be great to be back. Centro is our only Jersey gig of the week, so to our Jersey friends... bring Munchkins.
