BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Cinco De Mayo is just around the corner... not a holiday usually celebrated by the Amish, but this weekend we shall celebrate it extensively. Most folks associate Cinco De Mayo with tequila and Corona, but did you know that the holiday commemorates the morning of May 5, 1862 when 4,000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and traitor Mexican army of 8,000 at Puebla, Mexico? It is getting to that point already where we have to stop and think, "Okay, where did I play last week?" and summer isn't even here yet. Scary. Having stopped to think, I can say that last week's shows at The Colorado Cafe, Bar A and Pennant East were among the most fun we've had on stage or off and involved many acrobatics and throwing ourselves against the wall.
