BROTHERS AND SISTERS! How art thou? We played two great shows last week. Friday was Sharon and Bryan's wedding in beautiful Bonnet Island, NJ. Know how some weddings are stuffy? Well, not this one. High class, all the way. A beautiful place and beautiful people, but from the first note we played, the people were wild and crazy (in the best way possible, mind you). We were honored to be included. Thank you, our friends. Saturday was our weekend debut in NYC at Stout on West 33rd Street. It was like Bryan and Sharon's wedding without the tuxedos! Packed, people screaming (good screaming), dancing, and jumping around like lunatics. We are hoping to set up some more weekend dates at Stout. Radically different areas of the state, though, starting on Wednesday in Bellmawr, NJ (which is down by Philadelphia) at Pennant East. "Wednesday??" you are thinking? Yes, Wednesday night is THE night at Pennant East. It is like spring break madness in a club setting. You won't believe your eyes! Thursday we are off and resting. Friday we are much further North in Jersey, returning to the one and only Colorado Cafe in Watchung, NJ. The Colorado is one of our favorites. I almost broke my foot last time I was there. We'll see what happens this time. Saturday we are back down to central Jersey for our first show at Bar A in Lake Como, NJ in over two months! We have some new songs you Bar A peeps haven't heard yet, not to mention new moves we've been cooking up that are certain to please, or disgust. That remains to be seen! In other big news, we are excited to announce NEW YEAR'S EVE 2008 with THE AMISH OUTLAWS and DJ PRIME at THE GREEN ROOM! Monday, December 31st. It is a heck of a deal: $35 per person includes a THREE HOUR top-shelf open bar, hot and cold appetizers, champagne toast at midnight, and free continental breakfast, because everyone knows we'll be hungry and drunk when the wee hours roll around.
