Subject: AMISH OUTLAWS - shows this week - November28, 2007

BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

Thanksgiving is over! We've gained a combined total of 22.7 pounds over the holiday week. It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but if there's one thing us Amish aren't afraid of, it's hard work. If there wee two things, they'd be hard work and processed cheese spread, but if we had to pick JUST one, it'd be hard work.

Speaking of processed cheese spread, this week we have THREE shows, starting with our second night at Dexter's in Riverdale, NJ on Thursday night. It is LADIES' NIGHT, people, which means ALL ladies get in free AND drink 1/2 price until 11 PM. PLUS, everyone gets $2 Coors Lights and $4 Martinis ALL NIGHT LONG. The first night was a blast, and included props, special effects, and more. This week we'll be joined by the one and only DJ Prime, voted the NJ shore's #1 DJ two years running by the readers of Night & Day Magazine. DJ Prime will be on stage with us, and this will not just be the band playing and the DJ doing the breaks, but an interactive show between us the likes of which has never been seen before! We'll be at Dexter's just about every Thursday, good people. It's a beautiful place and a fun night, and just minutes from Rockland County, William Patterson, Montclair and several other colleges.

Friday we break new ground at the Tiki Stadium in Keansburg, NJ. We've heard it is an AMAZING place and are excited about our debut there. We recently heard that there have been some radio ads running that say we are playing at Jenks, but that is not the case. Oh, and the Jenks web site is also wrong. We are at the Tiki Stadium, so let there be no confusion, and please come help us christen this new venue for the Amish.

Saturday is our second performance at Willie McBride's in Hoboken, NJ. The first one in September was spectacular. We are honored and grateful to be back. Hoboken, NYC people, everyone far and wide... Willie McBride's!

Last week's shows were all nut-crackingly crazy, but Thanksgiving week-and-end tends to be that way, don't it? Wednesday at The Bent Elbo... as we've heard so many people in and around New Jersey say, "Fuhgeddaboutit." We were in PA though. But, it was so wall-to-wall insane, people were actually diving off the bar into the crowd. Here is a photo from the night's insanity:

Friday we were back at The Green Room, one of our favorite places in the planet, with perhaps the best and biggest pizza of all time. Huge stage, great sound, great people, great crowd! Incidentally, we'll be at The Green Room on NEW YEAR'S EVE this year along with DJ PRIME! Here's the scoop: tickets are $35 and include a THREE HOUR top shelf OPEN BAR, hot & cold appetizers, continental breakfast and champagne toast at midnight, plus we'll be putting on the show of our lifetimes. There are several reasonably-priced and nice hotels RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, so bring it on! Tickets are on sale now and will also be available at the door. Saturday was The Rambling House, and our first Saturday night there in ages, and folks... you could have walked off the stage onto people's heads and ambled over to the bar for a pint. Ish actually did at one point, but being the most diminutive of The Amish Outlaws, no one seemed to notice. Or maybe it was the drink that just made them numb and oblivious? We are back at The Rambling House for ANOTHER Saturday night on December 8th, just a few weeks away, and I fully intend to see if I can make my way to the bar without touching the floor.

Now, on to our PHOTO OF THE WEEK. Ever wonder what it's like to be in The Amish Outlaws? Well, if so, why??  Anyway, here's a small taste... the view from Amos' keyboards at The Bent Elbo Tavern:
