BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! This week we are playing three clubs that are like old friends to us, but without all the baggage and asking of favors and flatulence and stuff like that. Thursday we are at The Ringside Pub in Caldwell, NJ. Friday at Murphy's Third Rail in Dover, NJ. Saturday at The Inn in Long Beach, NY. We're spending just about every Thursday at the Ringside these days, and it is one of the first clubs we ever played in the state of New Jersey, and have since played it in various other states (inebriation, undress, etc.). We played the grand opening of Murphy's Third Rail just over two years ago, and have had nothing but great times there since not just playing, but seeing other bands play on rare nights that we have off. Saturday we are at The Inn, where we have spent every Thursday over the summer season for the last two years and will be spending them again this year. Ahh, old friends... I am getting a hangover just thinking about it!! Speaking of hangovers, don't forget we've got $6 pitchers of Bud and Bud Light at the Ringside every week! We saw a good number of new faces at The Ringside, and you good folks were VERY interactive and enthusiastic, which we appreciate so! We braved the winter storm on Friday to get down to the Borgata early enough to enjoy the rooms and hot tub and Fatburger and Noodle Bar, and then had a very well-attended and fun show despite the bad weather. Saturday at Seacrets... holy cow! It was like summer in there, not just because it was insanely hot, but the place was PACKED and between the heat and music and crowd, it was just utter insanity, in the best way possible. Amen and hallelujah!
