BROTHERS AND SISTERS! The first big holiday weekend of the year is here and she's a WHOPPER. A DOUBLE WHOPPER for that matter. You're expecting me to make a food joke here, because we talk about food so much aren't you? Yeah, it came to mind, but heck, it can't be about food ALL the time. Just, you know, all the time. We start this week at The Ringside Pub where you can practice for St. Patrick's Day by drinking $6 pitchers of Bud and Bud Light all night long. Friday we are off to the Bent Elbo Tavern to celebrate the holiday without Pennsylvania friends, then right from Fort Washington we'll be heading to Seaside Park, NJ for a double header at The Green Room during the Seaside Heights St. Patrick's Day Parade. I can't imagine the mayhem... last year was looney looney. Thankfully we were fueled by The Green Room's gigantic slices of pizza! Sunday we hit the road back up to New York to celebrate St. Patrick's Day Eve at the greatest Irish bar in the world... The Rambling House in Woodlawn, NY! Then, Monday, we head back down south to Looney's Pub in Bel Air, MD for a huge St. Patrick's Day bashwith Irish food, drink specials, a bunch of bands and 98 Rock broadcasting live. Then we drive back up to New York and sleep for 2 days straight!! Sadly, no pictures from this past weekend of gigs, but they were fun ones. The Ringside is always a blast... and Friday at Willie McBride's was too, despite the torrential rain. Thanks to all of you that came out and still made it a good night!
