BROTHERS AND SISTERS! May is here. Well, not actually here yet. Two more days, but it is CLOSE. You can smell its breath, and it smells like beer, sweat and barbecue. Though, more likely that'll just be the way the car smells on Sunday on the way back from Maryland, because we have one heck of a weekend ahead of us. Friday we are at Bar A in Lake Como, NJ. In addition to Bar A being what it is, BAR A, it is also the VIP Card Exchange so the hardcore Bar A folks will be in attendance... and those folks are our favorite kind of folks. Then it's off to a hotel so we can get enough sleep before playing Alyssa and Brian's engagement party during the day. Two great friends of ours. Brian's been around with us for YEARS and we are honored to be a part of their celebration. Saturday night, it is off to The Borgata Gypsy Bar. We hear Dolly Parton and Tracy Morgan are playing the Event Center and Comedy Club that night, so it should be an interesting blend of country folk and people that like to laugh. Our kind of crowd! Then Sunday it's off to the Baltimore area for our second year playing the Towsontown Spring Fest, a great outdoor event, where we will undoubtedly sweat and eat BBQ and drink beer. And then smell the whole ride home.
