BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Memorial Weekend has come and gone, and a glorious and long weekend it was. Safe to say that summer is here (in our book, anyways. It's a pop-up) and this coming week certainly will FEEL like summer with our schedule. But we will get to that. First, let us thank you all for making this past weekend so much fun. We played a new club (Social @ Dunwoodie in Yonkers, NY) and made new friends and had a blast. Then it was off to familiar stomping grounds at The Green Room, Tiki Stadium, Beach Bar and the Meadowlands Race track. Despite getting less than 2 hours of sleep on Sunday night, we ended the weekend in style! Now, on to this week. Thursday we are back at The Horse and Jockey in Pearl River, NY for our last Rockland gig until the fall, so this will be the locals' last chance unless you plan on trekking down to the summer spots. Friday we break new ground at the Black Bear in South Norwalk, CT. We've heard things. Good things. Saturday we play Heather and John's wedding in Atlantic City, NJ (those are people, not a club) and then take the ferry over to Delaware and drive down to Ocean City, MD to play Seacrets on Sunday night. We'll be sticking around for a bonus day off and doing a private event in Ocean City on Tuesday before heading back Wednesday. Monday (our night off in Ocean City) is Hezekiah's birthday so I can guarantee two things: 1) a drunk Hezekiah and 2) us all eating more food than some small countries do in a year. Friday, June 6th we will be doing out FIRST weekend gig at The Keltic House in Fishkill, NY! Then Saturday, June 7th we are back at Tiki Stadium for another great night PLUS we are celebrating Brother Big John Owens' birthday! WHOOHOO!
