Subject: AMISH OUTLAWS - this week's shows (6/1-6/3) - May31, 2006

BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!

We hope you all had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. Luckily, we have a relatively light week coming up, allowing us to recover from 3 days (and what felt like 8 nights) spent down in Long Beach Island on Thursday through Saturday.

This week we have three very special shows. Thursday we return to the Lagoon in Essington, PA for the GRAND OPENING OF THE DECKS Party. We will be both partying and playing at what is fast becoming one of our favorite clubs. On Friday, we return to what is already one of our favorite clubs, The Colorado Cafe in Watchung, NJ for a double-header birthday bash. It is not only our own Brother Hezekiah X's birthday, but also the birthday of Big Brother John Owens, one of our best friends and supporters. Then, on Saturday, it is back to our home on Long Island, The Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale NY. We couldn't ask for a better weekend.

Speaking of weekends, this past one, we had a lot of fun at Joe Pop's, Jack's Place, and The Sea Shell before heading to Long Beach, NY to play at The Inn on Sunday where, incidentally, we will be playing EVERY THURSDAY starting June 15th for LADIES' NIGHT! That means free admission and, if I read right on a banner at the club (and I do read real good), some sort of FREE DRINKS courtesy of Southern Comfort (don't quote me on that one). Photos from Saturday and Sunday are on our site and they are good ones! Go to: http://www.amishoutlaws.com/

On Saturday at the Sea Shell, history was made. It was the first time a crowd member had a religious experience at an Amish Outlaws show. This young lady fell to her knees during Meat Loaf's "Anything For Love" and proceeded to sway back and forth, as if the spirit of Loaf had come upon her (dirty minds), and then doubled over, leaning forward as if to Mecca, then leaning back, hands spread high towards the sky. This went on for the good majority of the song, much to the crowd's delight, though she seemed completely oblivious to the stares of hundreds of people. Yes, folks. It was THAT kind of night!
