BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! In the immortal words of Cal from The 40 Year-Old Virgin, "Oh, man, I had a weekend." It started on Wednesday at The Ringside Pub where we got that warm, fuzzy feeling all over seeing our friends from the Ringside, whom we don't see nearly enough. The perfect night. Thursday we were back at The Keltic House for, sadly, the last show there of the summer. It was a GREAT show. Very well-attended and FUN. We will be back regularly in the fall, but for now, the shore calls... and speaking of the shore, Friday at Bar A was insane as is to be expected. Saturday we went way up north to Rookies in Cromwell, CT for one of the best shows we have ever had, plus the "Insane" hot wings at Rookies. We may graduate to the "Wings of Death" next. Sunday... we went back to Bar A for the annual Erica Zwickel benefit. A great cause, and always a great show. After Bar A, Brother Tom the Pasta Punisher took us to Djais, a hardcore 80s-flavored disco dance club where we drank and danced the night away, acting the fool all the while. I say it again... Our summer Thursdays at The Inn begin on the 15th (THIS Thursday), and those Thursdays will be LADIES' NIGHT, which means ladies get in FREE plus there are all kinds of wacky drink specials. Did we mention that the band voted “Second Sexiest Amish Cover Band in Town” by Ladies’ Choice Magazine will be playing as well?? Friday we go off to the Bent Elbo Tavern in Fort Washington, PA, still home of the Big Muffin Burger and some of the friendliest and most fun people in this whole crazy world. Saturday we return to The Vintage in White Plains, NY... one of our oldest and most favorite haunts. We love the Vintage... and are going to make sure we are back there in the '07.
