BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

Lordy, what a weekend we had. Great from start to finish, in every way. A WILD
night at Bar A on Friday. Packed, fun, and hot like the summer. Saturday we
played the engagement party of two friends of ours, Brian and Alyssa, and we
had such a good time partying with them all, and were so happy to meet the
families... and they made us feel like we were a part of it. CONGRATULATIONS
you two! Saturday night we were off to The Borgata Gypsy Bar, where we played
to another packed house and had some very special friends in attendance and
made some new friends as a result (see below). Sunday we went down to
Baltimore, MD and played the Towsontown Spring Fest for the second year, and it
was unbelievably fun and well-attended. Photos from the Towsontown Fest are on
our site at: http://amishoutlaws.fotki.com/towsontown-spring-f/

May is here. Well, not actually here yet. Two more days, but it is CLOSE. You
can smell its breath, and it smells like beer, sweat and barbecue. Though, more
likely that'll just be the way the car smells on Sunday on the way back from
Maryland, because we have one heck of a weekend ahead of us.

Friday we are at Bar A in Lake Como, NJ. In addition to Bar A being what it is,
BAR A, it is also the VIP Card Exchange so the hardcore Bar A folks will be in
attendance... and those folks are our favorite kind of folks. Then it's off to
a hotel so we can get enough sleep before playing Alyssa and Brian's engagement
party during the day. Two great friends of ours. Brian's been around with us
for YEARS and we are honored to be a part of their celebration. Saturday night,
it is off to The Borgata Gypsy Bar. We hear Dolly Parton and Tracy Morgan are
playing the Event Center and Comedy Club that night, so it should be an
BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

The weather is warm. It feels like summer. I am feeling a little hung over just
thinking about it, but summer will be FUN. Last week we returned to Pearl
River, NY (one of the first towns we played) on Thursday night at The Horse and
Jockey. Not only was it so great to see so many old friends, but the club was
so happy that they added another date before the next one we had! SO, we will
be back at the Horse and Jockey on Thursday, May 8th AND Thursday, May 29th!
Whoohoo!! Friday we played at The Inn and it was appropriate the weather was so
nice, since we'll be spending every Thursday night there this summer, as we
have for the last two years, and hope to for as long as they'll have us.
Saturday we were back at O'Donoghue's in Hoboken, NJ. It's been a while so we
almost forgot how much fun O'Donoghue's is. What a great way to finish off a
great weekend.
The Amish Outlaws are back! We had a great weekend off. Ate a lot of food.
Jakob went to a tropical paradise and sent us a picture of his butt. Amos
celebrated his birthday in extended style. Abel, Hez, Ish and myself didn't do
quite as much, but for us, that was the point of the weekend.

So, anyway, back we are. And we can't think of a better place to come back to
than Rockland County, where we will be Thursday night at Horse and Jockey in
Pearl River, NY! We got our start in Pearl River years ago (5 years this
summer!) at places like JF Keanes and Fennell's Finish Line so it is
appropriate that we come full circle and in this, our fifth year, are back
there again. We look forward to seeing all of our old Rockland friends!
The big Amish weekend off is just around the corner, but before we round that
corner, we are going to Maryland, as most people who know geography know they
must do in order to get to Maryland.

Friday we are at Looney's in Bel Air, MD and then Saturday we head down to
Ocean City, MD to play at Seacrets where we will be celebrating Amos Def's
birthday! Sunday we come home, and aren't playing again until Thursday, April
17th (which, incidentally, is our first show in Rockland in YEARS at the Horse
BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

A blessedly calm week we have ahead of us, which is good as we are still
recovering from the long St. Patrick's Day run of gigs, as well as last week's
madness in NYC and Keansburg, NJ. Thanks to all who came out to The Red Lion,
Tiki Stadium, and Stout and made our weekend such a big whopper of fun.

So, on the topic of this week, Friday we are at Dexter's in Riverdale, NJ and
at Bar A in Lake Como, NJ on Saturday. Each great clubs, and among our favorite
places to play. Friday, Too Many Godz opens the show. We've heard great things
about this band and will be there early to check 'em out.
Speaking of which, you can check out a video of our show last week at The Red
