He doesn't seem to be breathing; his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other redneck whips out his cell phone and calls 911. He gasps to the operator, "I think Bubba is dead! What should I do?" The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, "Just take it easy and follow my instructions. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence.......... then a shot is heard. The redneck's voice comes back on the line, "Okay, now

PEACH CRISP
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Put 4 cups peeled, sliced peaches in 2-quart casserole
baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
Combine 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed, 1 cup rolled oats, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon
nutmeg. Beat 1 egg and 1 tablespoon oil.
Add to dry mixture. Stir with fork.
Crumble over peaches.
Bake 30 minutes or until topping begins to crisp.
Makes 6 servings.
