Add your own, and I will post it in the newsletter for others to rate it, and I'll post the rating in a future newslettter to see how well your recipe stacks up against others! http://www.cajuncookingrecipes.com/index.php Add Your Recipe! ***************************************** The Black-Eyed Pea Gumbo recipe has received a rating of 5, the best you can get! :o) The Last Minute Chicken Dinner recipe has received a rating of 5, the best you can get! :o) ***************************************** Today's Recipe: Cream Of Crawfish Soup Ingredients 2 cups chicken stock 1/2 cup flour 1/12 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 cup melted butter 1 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 cup onion, chopped 4 cups half & half 1 lb crawfish tails, finely ground 1/2 bunch chopped green onions 1 1/4 tsp. onion powder Directions In a skillet, saut?© onion in butter for 3 to 5 minutes. Add flour and cook 5 minutes on medium heat. Add chicken stock and cook 5 minutes. Slowly whisk in half & half, stirring constantly. Add seasoned crawfish tails (run them through a food processor or blender until finely chopped). Simmer on low for about 15 to 20 minutes. Recipe may be doubled.
