Brats with Beer and Onions

Ingredients

2 to 3 cans beer (labatt blue)
4 to 6 large onions sliced in large rings (some chunks too)
6 original Johnsonville Brats

Use a large skillet pan with a lid.

Pour in Beer, add onions start to simmer add brats on top. Cover and
simmer, Stir every now and again. Let brats get covered with the
onions.

He cooked this way about 45 min.

Then he fired up the grill and put his and my brothers on to grill
for about 5 min. I choose NOT to have mine grilled -- no need in my
opinion.

Serve on buns with cooked onions, mustard & ketchup.

VERY GOOD! The onions almost carmelized in the beer.

I like stout ketchup & used that on mine .... to make:
just mix gineuss (Irish stout beer) & ketchup, store in fridge.

Cooking Tips:

Add a little salt or vinegar to your boiling water when cooking eggs;
a cracked egg will stay in its shell this way.

Rub butter or margarine on the rim of a pot in which you cook rice or
macaroni and it won't boil over.

A cake will keep longer if you place half an apple in the cake tin
when storing.

Note*If you are trying to use the same username and password at the
website as you have in the newsletter, and you are having problems
logging in. Im sorry, it doesnt work that way. They are two different
things. If you go to http://www.cajuncookingrecipes.com/index.php and
look on the right hand side. Under "add recipe" it asks if you are a
new user to click here. Then create a username and password. You can
use the same one as for the newsletter as long as no one else has it
so far. It would make it easier to remember. It's real short, and as
soon as you do this, you can add your recipes. Please let us know if
you have any problems.

a solution and will have it back up and running as soon as possible.
It's really sad that we have to do this due to a few people who do not
have any respect for others, but we do not want to have those kind of
messages on our website, as it is very offensive to us and you, our
faithful readers.
