SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

2 pounds bulk sausage
8 slices white bread with crusts removed
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
5 eggs
1 cup cream
1 cup milk
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. dried mustard

Cook sausage in a large skillet, stirring until
crumbly; drain. Spread bread with butter; cut into
cubes. Place in a 9 by 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with
sausage; top with cheese. Combine remaining
ingredients in a bowl; beat well. Pour over mixture.
Cover with foil. Chill overnight. Preheat oven to 350
degrees. Bake for 1 hour. Makes about 12 servings.
