Hi y'all! Okay, I'm ready for summer! (Of course when it gets here, I'll be ready for fall!) Sure glad I don't live in the north, I would surely freeze! I feel for y'all, brrrrrr! Come check it out at: http://partysupply.makesparties.com/catalog/template.php3?sub_event=180&event=7 (Note: This is a very long url, it starts with http and ends with =7) ***************************************** Bourbon Street Chicken 4 chicken breasts 1 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 C. soy sauce 2 tablespoons dried minced onion 1/2 C. packed brown sugar 1/4 C. bourbon (to taste) 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 baking dish Combine the ginger, soy sauce, onion flakes, sugar, bourbon and garlic powder and pour over chicken Cover dish and place in refrigerator overnight Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a covered dish, bake in preheated oven, basting frequently, for 1 hour or until chicken is well browned and juices run clear. This is not the original, as it is a well guarded secret! New Orleans Hurricane (This drink packs a punch, so drink it responsibly!) Ingredients: 1/2 cup ice 2 fluid ounces light rum 2 fluid ounces passion fruit flavored syrup 1 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage 1 ounce lime juice 1 fluid ounce rum Directions: 1 In a shaker, combine ice, light rum, passion fruit syrup, lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage and lime juice. Shake well and pour mixture into a Hurricane or other large specialty glass.
