Please post it at: http://www.cajuncookingrecipes.com/index.php Post Recipes To Rate We appreciate everyone who posts their recipes, and everyone who takes the time to rate them! ***************************************** Today's Recipe: Pea and Pesto Soup 1 cup green or yellow split peas, rinsed 2 to 3 Tbs. prepared pesto 2 1/2 cup water 1 cup sliced zucchini 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth 1 cup chopped green onions Combine peas, broth, and water in a large saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in pesto, zucchini, and green onions, simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired.
