1. Editorial:

Welcome back everyone and a special welcome to all of you who have recently joined the SWO Newsletter.

Only one more issue left. A couple of months ago I was optimistic that I could continue the newsletter but unfortunately it's costing me money now so I must let it go. The website will remain for a couple of more months yet but when the ads run out there, I'll be pulling the website as well. That'll probably be in March, 2006.

But that being said, today's issue is filled with information to help you. The markets are mostly geared towards women's mags but in the last issue (Dec. 24th) I'll share more markets than I normally do and it'll be a variety of genres.

Until next time...
Be Wonder-Filled

01: PUBLISHER'S NOTES:

Knowing this is our last newsletter for 2005,
I hope everyone has enjoyed reading our past issues.
I've really enjoyed writing and mailing them.
However, I'd like to make a few pointers before
our second year begins. I hope everyone will
read the articles and the poems listed
in this issue. TAC's writers took their time
to write each piece and had the heart to share
their wonderful worlds with us. I personally
would like to thank every writer, and the
writers featured in this newsletter, for
submitting your pieces. And for those who
placed ads, recommended others, and
those two who donated to TAC's newsletter.
Another big "Thank you" goes out to
our paying subscribers, which I hope the
number continues to grow giving those who
are recognized in our issues a chance to be
read amongst many people.
Another topic I'd like t note is that we have a
response of twenty-two others who would like
to receive their first free issue of TAC. And, I
hope our new readers will decide to join
us by subscribing on a yearly base.
Due to the rising cost of United States stamps,
TAC's new layout design and the cost of 6x9
envelopes, I sadly have to admit TAC's
subscription fee will also go up. But not by much...the
new subscription cost, which
will start for our Jan./Feb. issue will be
$5.00 for both United States and
International Country subscribers. However,
those who are already paid up for a year, you will
be sent a notice before your subscription expires.
This price will not take affect until our
January/February 2006 issue.
If you haven't subscribed yet, you only
have until December to get a year subscription
for $3.00.
By the end of this month, I'll be sending out a
questionnaire form to our TAC subscribers and I would
appreciate everyone filling it out and returning it.
This will be to help me improve our newsletter
for the coming year.
Again, thank you everyone for your support
in addition, interest in TAC newsletter and I will see
you next year.
Thank you all,

Michelle Fitzpatrick

Getting Your Book Published

If your New Year's resolution is to get a
book published, sign up for Publish That
Book: Writing a Nonfiction Book Proposal
That Sells. An 8-week e-course for
Mediabistro conducted by author
Andrea Campbell. DURATION/TIME 8
weeks, online January 3 - February 21
Online chats: Thursdays, 10:00-11:00 p.m.
EST (transcripts are available if you miss a chat).
LEVEL This class is taught at an intermediate level.
ONLINE CLASS INFORMATION: Our online
classes are easy to use. They work on most
computers, operating systems, and web browsers.
Details are on our eClasses info page.
Nowadays, big publishers simply don't read
unsolicited material. They depend on
agents to muck through the "slush pile" in
search of the gems. If you want to get a
book published, knowing and using the correct
format for a book proposal is paramount. Nonfiction
books---a market easier to break into than
fictions---are the backbone of publishing. In this
workshop, you'll learn what is appropriate
for writers who already have an idea for a
book, but would like to know the complete
and correct execution of this vital marketing
product. In this class, you can expect to learn:

* If your idea is a good one
* The essential ingredients
of a book proposal
* The correct marketing tone
to take when pitching the book
* What the format and overall look
of the actual proposal should be
* Necessary hard-copy tools
* How to sell yourself
* How to package your product
* How to write your proposal letter
* The business of proposing
* The nuts and bolts of the
nonfiction publishing industry
* ...and much, much more!

By the end of class, students can expect
to have: A marketable nonfiction book
proposal package ready to send out to
agents, including a query letter. Student
and professional writer, Karen Werner, says,
"The assignments are the crux of this class.
They break up the proposal into its
individual parts and allow you to tackle
them in succession and not be overwhelmed
by the whole. Approaching them in this way
allowed us to actually create an entire proposal
with only a modicum of pain...The caliber of
students kept me on my toes and prevented me
from turning in schlock. The chats provided
camaraderie in a business that often feels
lonely, and made me realize all of us writers are
in the same boat. And Andrea was a hard working,
devoted teacher who seems to really
care about the success of her students. I'd
absolutely enroll in a class from her again.

An Author's 15th Book-Length Taking Shape

Pete Hodgins of Canada 15th book-length
work is now taking shape under the title,
"Toko Cicak." These are Indonesian nouns,
but the opus will be 99.9% in English--the
English of 1815 as an historical novel.
The story mainly unfolds on the island
of Sumbawa, and will be exotic even to
today's Sumbawans; for the entire culture
I have begun to recreate in imagination
was instantly wiped out in a volcanic
cataclysm in that year, 1815. The local folk
had their own language, but it too was lost.
My other major works include a
half-dozen naval historical novels, some
romantic travel adventures, two works of
creative nonfiction (one on popular
sailing, the other being my memoirs of
rugged northern wilderness surveying in
the early 1950s), and materials for an
anthology of short works. I fail miserably
in marketing, though, to date having
published not one major work. "Kudos", indeed!
You can find my web pages by searching for "Pete
Hodgins Sr.," but I expect to close them in December.
That medium seems to have zero impact, for me.

Cheers!

How do I cure insomnia?

Written by Charles oh - ?© 2002 Pagewise

1. Cures for insomnia range from homeopathic
methods to medical. But why do some treatments work
for some people and not for others? If you've been walking
around tired, cranky, and with bloodshot eyes, you're probably
one of the millions of people suffering from sleep deprivation.
Every year, millions of people turn to prescription medicine to
help them get a restful night's sleep, but is that really the best
answer? Sleeping pills, tranquilizers, and other prescribed
drugs may seem like the instant fix, but studies show that a significant
percentage of prescribed "sleeping aids" fail to deal with the
individual's real problem.

1. Before you go looking for a method to achieving peaceful sleep,
you must first realize some things about insomnia. Unlike Narcolepsy or
Sleep Apnea (interference with breathing during sleep), Insomnia is
typically characterized by not being able to fall asleep 10 to 20 minutes
after attempting to do so. The longer it takes to actually fall asleep,
the worse the case of insomnia. Other types of insomnia deal with
habitually waking from sleep and being unable to resume. We will look
at the former, and some of methods that former insomniacs swear by,
including me.

-Medication
Medication is probably the quickest way to resolve your
sleep problems, but be aware that they are far from the best.
First, most medications tend to stay in the body for long periods of time,
so any liver or kidney problems would complicate your long term health.
Another facet of prescription medication is that they work for a few weeks,
but then your body builds up a tolerance to them, requiring larger doses to
achieve the same affect.

1. The most commonly prescribed drugs to aid sleep come from the group,
benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are anti-anxiety drugs, and were never created
to address sleep disorders. Their sole purpose is simply to induce sleep. There
is likelihood that you can become chemically dependent to drugs like these. It is
likely that withdrawal symptoms will occur when stopped. The most common
benzodiazepines used for sleep aids are Valium and Dalmane, both which must
be prescribed.Another commonly prescribed group of drugs to aid sleep is
barbiturates, like the commonly used Seconal. The way barbiturates work is
by depressing the central nervous system. This in turn, knocks you out.
Like benzodiazepines, barbiturates are also capable of becoming dependent
and causing withdrawal symptoms upon their stoppage. Barbiturates, however, were
noted possibly cause anemia, and can be fatal when mixed with alcohol.
It is important to note that medications as the two groups stated above do put you sleep,
but fail to allow the "deep sleep" and R.E.M. needed to feel well rested by morning.
A medication that does claim to allow this is the much highly touted Melatonin.
Melatonin is all natural and available over the counter at most drug stores.
When taken, it is supposed to allow you to drift to sleep in about 30 minutes and wake
6 to 8 hours later feeling refreshed and well-rested. It works by becoming a secretion
of your pineal gland, and inducing that tired, languid feeling before falling asleep.
For some time Melatonin was regarded as not only a cure for insomnia, but also as a step
towards a cure for cancer, Parkinson's disease and many more illnesses. For some, unfortunately,
Melatonin does not work, and in some cases may even induce a rapid heartbeat.

-Exercise
Exercise is not always an aid in falling asleep. While exercise does relieve tension and
stress, it's better to do so during mornings or before your last meal, at the latest.
Because exercise actually raises the body temperature, which in turn, wakes you up, exercise
before bedtime is not a good way to tackle insomnia. Many former insomniacs have turned to
meditation and yoga to ease their nights. Practicing meditation and yoga is similar to reading
a book, because they are all inductive to mind and body relaxation. Yoga actually loosens the
muscles in the body, putting it in a state close to that of being asleep.

-Eating Habits
Perhaps the most overlooked aspect of insomnia, are the pre-sleep rituals an individual
practices. When do you eat your last meal and what's in it? Do you consume a lot of candy or
caffeine, plunk down on the bed, and expect to fall asleep on a sugar high? The diet is an
important facet of sleep, and even more important when it may be one of the obstacles getting
you there. Hunger is as much a deterrent to falling asleep as is having a heavy meal. It's
important to get your last meal well out of the way before turning in for the night.
And in case you've forgotten and your mother isn't there to remind you, a glass of warm milk
isn't just for kids. The warm milk contains calcium and tryptophan-- you know, that junk in
the turkey that makes you drowsy.

-Environment
A friend once suggested to me that I keep my bedroom off limits to everything else but sleep.
Make my body grow accustomed to the sensation that lying in the bed equals sleep. It's a great
idea, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. It is important, though, to make sure your
sleeping environment is inductive to sleep. Make sure your bed, sheets, etc., are comfortable.
If they're not, it's highly unlikely that whoever is lying in them will be. Play with your
bedroom lighting. Try dimming the lights a few degrees and see if it facilitates the ease in
which you drift off. And, while its not been scientifically proven, most people find cooler
room temperatures more inductive to sleep, especially when there's a warm bed providing
salvation. Another great tip is to take a warm bath before bedtime. The surrounding warm water
actually relaxes your muscles and alters your body temperature to that similar of sleeping.
Be aware that most of the time, insomnia isn't about just not being able to fall asleep; it's
usually about something else. Taking care of your health is common knowledge, but things like
stress, sexual frustration or unrelieved tension can become the root of a detrimental illness
like insomnia. Try different things like reading, leaving the T.V. on with the volume almost
inaudible, or boring you to sleep. I found that treating insomnia is as subjective a task if
there is one, and what works for everyone else might not work for you. Remember that tiredness
can be caused by too much sleep as well as too little, and catching up on the weekends is more
harmful than good, as it leads to irregular sleep patterns. If you cannot pinpoint what's
bothering you, and absolutely nothing seems to work, it's important to consult a physician.
Other than that, it's all about finding the method that relaxes you, and puts you enough at
ease to finally reach that dreamy goal. Good night.

LENA AND THE GOOSE

In my past twenty-four years of being a Nurse, I have developed a wonderful passion
for the Geriatric set. And if you are a Nurse, reading this, you will agree sometimes,
those elderly little old white hair ladies, can make it VERY difficult to bond with.
While, the elderly men folk, are a piece of cake to bond with, that is as long as you
keep laughing at their dirty, old men stories, they loved to tell you over and over,
night after night. There is one story, however, about one of those contrary, dignified,
rather reserved, not so little, white hair ladies, that I will always remember. Of course,
I have changed her name here so that HIPAA won't have the FBI after my license! I had been
a Nurse for about twelve years, and still young and single. I was the House Supervisor in
a one hundred and ninety bed skilled nursing home. Back in the days you could give enema's,
Milk of Magnesium, or remove impactions without an order from the Doc, it was completely at
the Nurse's discretion. Since, the Director of Nursing always had a difficult time finding
enough staff to work the evening shift, I frequently charged the third floor unit, as well
as being the House Supervisor. I actually had no complaints, because our facility always,
catered to learning third and fourth year student physicians. So, this also gave me a chance
to search for a hubby. OK! OK! OK! Enough about me! Let me tell you all about Lena. Like my
self you will learn to love this annoying, hateful old biddy. I mean elderly lady! When I
first met Lena, she was already pushing ninety! She definitely, had all of her facilities,
and believe me, you were not about to pull anything over on her! The one thing I have found
out working with the elderly is, they are constantly obsessing about their bowels. Lena was
for sure no different,
rather she had a patent on all this obsessing thing! Most of the time her bowel movements were
pouring out of her like liquid. Yet every breakfast, lunch, and supper, she was screaming for
a laxative, you know she'd say "that white stuff"! She was a Milk of Magnesium junkie! When I
heard her coming off of the elevator, yelling "BBAARRBBAARRAA" as she placed her first foot
upon solid ground, I literally cringed! I tried everything from being too busy, hiding, or
just plain ignoring her! I was totally helpless, and on my own, as the caregivers would
scatter saying "here comes your little pet" Lena, had Parkinson's, in the latent stages, so
when she walked, she did a lot of rocking and rolling, always clanging her walker the loudest
at the Nurse's station, right in front of my desk. Her speech was broken and choppy, because
of her Parkinson's. Because she couldn't hear a dang thing, in spite of the two hearing aides
she wore or more like always, fumbling with them constantly, so that they squealed so loudly,
I thought I'd loose my hearing, as well. Every night, Lena stopped at my desk for her thirty
cc, fix. So, I wouldn't have to listen to her, I gave her MOM almost immediately, rather than
page for the Medicine Tech Nurse to come hither. With the same routine, she would pop her food
sodden dentures out on my desk, as she had told me so many times before, "my laxative just
doesn't work if I leave my teeth in". Watching Lena, actually slop her MOM, shaking so bad
her MOM was nearly every where, but in her mouth. Yet that didn't seem to matter to her.
Then, she would pick up her teeth and lick them clean, with me wandering if food tasted
better this way? Thinking I will have to try this when I get older and don't have my own
teeth anymore. Once she'd had lapped her dentures clean, she rattled off to the bathroom,
so she could assure herself that the MOM was going to work. Her BM's were so liquid, that
she literally could not tell the difference from when she urinated vs. had a BM. With this
piece of knowledge, I am sure you will not find the next thing, I am going to tell you, of
any surprise. When Lena, was certain her bowels hadn't moved the way she thought they should,
out
came her trusty digging finger, attempting to remove an impaction. Not finding, the gold mine
she thought should be there, she would truck up to my desk, dirty finger and all. Sticking,
of course, that dirty digging finger right in my face, saying "LOOK, can't you see I am just
full of BM"? "Now, get your soap bucket, and bring it to my room and get me cleaned out"!
To add to this painful realization, that if I didn't do as she commanded, she wasn't going
to leave me alone. If I tried, to ignore her, as I had tried so often in the past, Lena and
her dirty finger, stayed planted at my desk. It would be these times that she would start
working up these loud fake burps that consisted of a lot of air she, would forcefully blow
out of her lips. This would go on for five or ten minutes, when she would tell me, "my
Father died because he got too much GAS around his heart, from not being able to have a
BM every morning and at bed time"! What happens next, you can most likely guess, Lena
would grab at her chest over her heart screaming "It's happening, I can tell, I am starting
to die just like my Daddy"! "OH, Daddy grab my hand and guide me to your place in Heaven"!
Needless to say, on these episodes, there would always be a lot of visitors, coming and going.
I am sure that you can guess what it took to put poor Lena out of her misery. When I thought,
things could not get any worse, her daughter show's up for the first time in over a year from
Texas. Feeling guilty, she hadn't seen Mamma more often, her answer for keeping in touch
better, was to have a telephone installed in Mamma's private room. Now, not only, did Lena
grace me with her presents, but now she called me on the phone as many as eight times a
shift. I actually prayed to God, for him to make Lena, be like all my other patients, sweet,
loving, and so easy to satisfy! Nothing changed, I had began to believe I was being punished,
thinking perhaps Nursing in Geriatrics, wasn't my calling after all! Even her Doc, seemed to
be against me as well. On many occasions he reminded me that at ninety five years of age Lena
should have all the MOM and enema's that she wanted! It had been, about five years, since Lena
and I had first met, and she seem to think of me as her Private Duty Nurse. It was my name ONLY
about five years, since Lena and I had first met, and she seem to think of me as her Private
Duty Nurse. It was my name ONLY she seemed to ever remember. I was sure because my name was
the same as her daughters. I had actually gotten so used to the evening routine that only
Lena shared with me, that I had began to, would you believe grow rather fond of her.
In all of the time, Never had I ever heard a bad word out of Lena, until this one particular
evening, that was a full moon, of all things. Lena had put her call light on many times that
evening and of course, she refused to let any of the caretakers do anything for her. It was
me she demanded to see! Because I was so busy that evening, I just kept putting her off. I
had eleven IV's running through out the facility and two patients, on my unit crashing, both
being FULL CODES! Naturally, there was a major shortage of help this eve. Lena, giving up,
to the fact, I wasn't going to come to her room, took out in search for me, finding me on
another unit. In her sternest and shakiest voice she boomed an announcement so loudly to
me that I thought she was the Town Crier, "BBAARRBBAARRAA"! "I can't SHIT" Well, to hear
Lena say this word, I knew this must be serious business. I had long ago learned all Lena,
had really ever wanted was attention, and TLC. For some strange reason, she had always
liked me, and the TLC I gave her must have been the answer to keep her HAPPY! So for Lena,
I stopped what I was doing and I invented the BARBARA'S "SHIT" LIKE A GOOSE COCKTAIL!
I talked, as loud, as I could, to be sure she could hear me, and told her I was going to
give her something that I guaranteed would make her "SHIT" like a goose! Now, mind you this
impolite way to say poop was not in my vocabulary, either! I poured sixty cc's of MOM and
twenty five cc's of Cascara into a big coffee cup. Her Doc had actually told me on those
days that Lena, might really be constipated, to give her a dose of this lethal screaming to
the potty remedy. Pouring prune juice in with this brew, I then warmed it up in the microwave,
making it as hot as coffee, telling Lena to sip this and she would get results! She did as
I had told her to do,and about thirty minutes later, one of the caretakers came
rushing to the desk saying "Lena needs you " "she is yelling your name out so loud,
and she's crying and laughing, I think she is going to five cc's of Cascara into a big coffee
cup. Her Doc had actually told me on those days that Lena, might really be constipated, to
give her a dose of this lethal screaming to the potty remedy. Pouring prune juice in with
this brew, I then warmed it up in the microwave, making it as hot as coffee, telling Lena
to sip this and she would get results! She did as I had told her to do, and about thirty
minutes later, one of the caretakers came rushing to the desk saying "Lena needs you "
"she is yelling your name out so loud, and she's crying and laughing, I think she is going
to die"! Alarmed, I raced to where Lena was, perched upon her throne in the bathroom.
I was thinking, if she is dying, at least she is where she has always enjoyed being.
When she seen me enter, breathless, she grabbed my arm pulling me to her in a big bear
hug, and for the first time she was so Jubilant as her voice sang out "BBAARRBBAARRAA"!
"THE OLD GOOSE IS JUST A SHITTIN"! Like I said, had I not grown to love her already, this
would have been the moment for us to bond, for sure! After, this Lena, had become my
missionary telling anyone, and everyone how great I was and that I had done something
for her, that no one had ever been able to do for her, in her entire life! With this
new found happiness of Lena's she insisted she wanted to do something for me, that she
hoped would be a life time, show of her appreciation. She ordered and commanded her
drop dead gorgeous son, to start dating me. He had recently, moved here from California.
He had always visited his Mom several times a year, so he wasn't a complete stranger to me.
Lena, got so involved with playing CUPID with her campaign of Alf and I dating that she was
already arranging a wedding for us. What darling Lena, did not know about her son was
he was GAY! Alf, at his Mother's demanding request at last took me out to eat and it was
then he told me the truth, about his preference for men not women. What a smooth talker
as well as gorgeous, he was. He told me if, he were ever to become straight, he would
jump at the chance to date me as he did think, get this, that I was "drop dead gorgeous"
"Intelligent", and that I had a "Fantastic Personality"! And all I could do was stare
at him all goggle eyed, thinking what a waste! During, the course of the three and a
half hour meal, Alf thanked me often for always, being there for his Mom. Telling me
that before Lena had become a resident, at the Nursing Home she was now in, that she
had actually been kicked out of seven other Nursing Homes. All because of her bowl
obsession and she would get so upset with the staff when they wouldn't give her a
laxative, so she started spitting on the staff members. Of all things to be kicked
out of seven homes in less than five years. In my mind, I knew they just didn't like
her and this seem like a good reason to give her the boot! Alf told me that he thought
that I could charm a snake, as I had tamed his Mom down to a pussy cat. With all the
things he was sharing with me, I was feeling guilty about the way I had felt toward her
in the beginning. I had been Barbara's Father, was as abusive, if not worse to Lena,
than her own father had been. Alf said Lena, did not know what love and trust were,
and growing up she was a cold callous person. Often, locking up her two children
in a room, for days and weeks at a time. Alf near tears said "I know now the reason for
locking, Barbara and I up, it was only to protect us from our Father and from being a
witness to what she had endured most of her life". It was then and there, I promised
myself, that I would never judge another patient nor person again in my life.
From then on I realized that everyone no matter how annoying or love to hate
personality a person had, they to had something good about them, and I was going
to find the good in everyone from then an out. And to this day I still believe
this and do this with every one that touches my life. Lena, lived to be one hundred
and three years of age. Even tough, I had changed to another job the last five years
of her life, she and I stayed in close touch, still doing our Sunday thing, with Alf
still joining us. A few months after Lena's last birthday, she had a major stroke.
She was able to say a few near garbled words, but over all she was essentially paralyzed
completely. Her Doc, who was still the same old chap, now in his early seventies, gave her
only a few days too hours to live. Her daughter, refused to come, telling Alf "I can't
forgive her, even now"! I took time off from my current job, and for the next thirty-six
hours, Alf and I both took turns, standing or laying on her bed beside Lena, always
hugging or holding her tight. Some of the staff were glad to see that she was dying,
saying horrible remarks of "don't worry she won't die she's to mean"! But in my heart
I knew, the last years of life, Lena and I shared, she had found some one she could
trust and love, and get that same feeling in return. She had renewed her faith in God.
And at least one of her children had forgiven her for only trying to protect him.
And I knew she was only hanging on a little longer because of the love and happiness
she had finally found so late in her life. Minutes before she took her final breathe
something miraculously took place. Lena took both of our hands, pulling us to her
bosom, as if there was no evidence of her paralysis. She spoke clearer than I had
ever heard, and in a soft and tender voice for the first time said "I Love You, Alf".
"I Love you, Barbara". "Thank you God for the happiness you brought to me". Take me home,
now, please". Sighing with her last breathe now taken. Alf cried like a child, still
holding his Mom's hand saying, "that is the first and only time I can ever remember
hearing Mom say those three beautiful words to me". "I Love You".

UNTITLED, TO A GIRL

Have you ever seen a rainbow in a pair of brown eyes,

Alternatively, a beautiful smile that just sticks in your mind

Well today, I did, and I hope to again

I just hope the next time I won't pass like the wind

I hope I can stay and enjoy the view
And I hope if I do, I hope she will too

I hope I can show her that her beauty is seen
Not just with my eyes but with a vision more keen
If I were blind I could feel her if she came and stood near
If I were deaf, i could hear her, through my heart, just as clear

Love at first sight is just an old tale for wives
But today i saw a rainbow in a pair of brown eyes

WHERE HAS SHE GONE?

Once so vibrant, and alive, running here, and running there. A woman,
I love and respect, without even a dare. She once knew how to nurture and
love me, in return, teaching me to be the person I am today. Always, a hug,
a kiss, support to offer, always a comforting smile she had to convey.
The love of her life, her soul mate into eternity and beyond. He taught
her to behold, of love ever lasting with her inner and outward beauty,
that made him quite fond. Many years later, his number had to be called,
as he now is wrapped in the arms of our Savior, he be held, no remorse of
his present bound. It, was then, no one realized her world began to crumble,
as her heart forever, inside started to pound.
Out there now, somewhere, no one knows for sure. If only someone,
could come up with a sure fire cure. She sometimes, travels afar, on
the freeways, at the speed of eighty, catching up soon, with the same rate
of her approaching age. Regardless, of who she has become, I see, she refuses
to be put in a cage. Gosh, how I worry and love her so, searching for her,
and of who she once was, who now has traveled into the beyond. Yet, making
it impossible, to find the lost soul, who she, herself has failed to realize,
as of yet, and maybe never, has already left again, well before dawn.
A game she plays with me, her family, even her Doctors, who nar the wiser, yet the
rules she fails to follow.
As sometime back, I then was unable to understand her anger and bitterness , she has
now left my heart hallow.
You ask....... who do I speak of, so adorned to my heart?
Like her Mother, before her at now, 103 nearly, this woman I speak of, who once
feared she could possibly follow those same footsteps of defeat, now shows the
beginning stages of Alzheimer's, a disease endured without a love for the art.
Just setting in her recliner, frail from improper nutrition, refusing help, in a
room heavenly laden with clouds of smoke lingering in the air, clicking her remote
aimlessly, sad and lonely, just waiting to explode like a bomb.
I tell you this, that person, to be, she is my MOM!
