I hope you all with school-age kids are adjusting to the changes that a new school year brings. Have a great week! The wait is 1/4 or less the time and the sweet people in line always strike up a great conversation with my kids to help keep them entertained! -- Stacey from Carlsbad, CA Free Entertainment Take advantage of Museum Day on September 30th, where many museums across the country offer free admission. Your whole family gets in free! http://www.smithsonianmagazine.com/museumday/ -- Melissa, 31, from Kennesaw, GA Todder Tricks I had a really tough time getiting my toddler to drink enough water. She loves juice, so I serrupticiously started "watering down" her average portion by small increments, until she was pretty much drinking plain water. It saves $$$, too. Juice is expensive, especially when it's all your kid drinks all day! -- Wendy, 39, from Queens, NY To share your money saving tips with other member, visit: http://mommysavers.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=14 ------------------------------ Deal of the Day: Family Circle Magazine 1 Year/15 Issues - Only $4.95! While there it dawned on me that a childhood/high school friend lived in the city we were in. I called and he offered to drop by and pick me up while DH was in meetings. If he were my DH I would have...well let's just say paniced. Their home was in perfect order and believe me there were no skeletons in the closet because I got the full tour...closets and all. I was so impressed!! Did I mention they have a toddler!! How can I organize and maintain a house that's "drop in" ready like that? How do you organized ladies do it? -- Username Nadino http://mommysavers.com/boards/showthread.php?t=5207 The best simple inventions My favorite is the Apple peeler - corer/slicer.
