Great Ideas for Moms:

Organizing Coupons
I used to use the coupon pouch, but I'm now using a baseball card binder (to organize my
coupons) and love it! I take the ones I need out before I go to the store.

Black Friday Shopping Strategies
I make a list of the gifts I still need to get and where they are all sale. I then decide
which stores need to be visited first: based on how much I am getting at each. If I have to
pick up four things at one store, I will hit that store first. The rest of the morning will
most likely be me stopping for one or two things, if it's worth the stop. -- Username Christy_K_

Wal-Mart will price match most of Target & K-Mart's ads, so I usually go there first get what I
can matched and whatever Wal-mart has on sale, then go to the other stores. I'm usually done
around 9:00 a.m. -- Username sshallenbu

Mom's Coffee Break:  Parent in Training by Lisa Barker
I don’t care how many parenting books there are out
there, when it comes to the real education in child
rearing, experience comes on-the-job.  And, thanks to
my three-year old son (yes, him again) I learned a
good lesson the other day.

All the Little Pieces
What do you do to organize all the little pieces that come with kids toys?
We have Fisher price, Weebles, Barbies, Bratz, Polly Pockets, kitchen stuff,
medical Stuff, car stuff, etc.  I have them all in seperate containers but
the kids get into them and they end up all over the house or dumped out on
the floor. Any ideas?

What Room do you Redecorate First in a New Home?
We just bought a new house. I'm trying to decide where to start. It's a blank
slate right now. All the walls are white & I just can't have that! So where do
you start? I think I want to start in the main living areas, but there's a big
part of me that wants to start in the Master Bedroom. What to do, what to do....

What's Cooking: Apple Crisp

5 cups peeled sliced apples (a little more or less is fine too!)
1 stick butter (save wrapper to grease pan)
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1 or 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon (depends on how cinnamon-ny you like it)

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9 or 13x10 pan with butter wrapper. Arrange peeled
apple slices in dish. Mix the rest of the ingredients together ( I use a fork, it
seems to work better) Dump or spoon over apples. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
