I do this for myself and the kids. For my summer clothes I looked at what I had and made a list of what I needed to complete. M y list had 3 sections: 1. Absolutely need, 2. Would really like if I can find at a good price, 3. it would be nice to have but could to without if I don't find a bargain. -- Member mommymarie Where to Shop I used to buy jeans at Old Navy, but realized that I was getting holes in the knees after just 6 months or so. So, even though I was getting the jeans for cheaper up front, it was costing more in the long run. A couple months ago, I went to Ross and bought a pair of Lucky Jeans, which are the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever owned. Usually they cost a minimum of $85 up to $150! Ross's price was $32! -- Member Vioburn Take Care of Clothing I take really careful care of all my clothes. I have a lot of slacks, simple flat front khakis, dark rinse jeans...a lot of simple sweaters, sweater sets, tshirts - long and short sleeve etc. I have sweaters from high school that I still wear...slacks from college that still look great. I think that if you buy something quality to begin with, it will last so much longer for you. But that's my experience. I'd rather have one pair of terrific black pants, than 10 pairs of 'okay' ones. -- Member Oregano For all the insider shopping secrets, visit: http://mommysavers.com/boards/spending-less-saving-more/31632-calling-all-fashionistas-clothing-less.html ------------------------------ May Contest: Refer-a-Friend Refer the Most and Win!
