Last year my daughters got coupons for free ice cream, tater tots, french fries, small toys and bookmarks just for reading (which they would have done anyway). -- Member Tinamarie Treasure Hunt Getting kids going on a treasure hunt can be lots of fun. During the warmer months, write clues that lead your kids to certain objects, for example: an oak tree if you're in the park, or a dandelion or buttercup in the garden. Leave another clue in the spot where they find the answer to the first one, and so on. I usually do 15. My children define this by: Every member of the family has to be there It doesn't h1. We have to be doing something fun together 2. It has to involve something good to eat 3. ave to be expensive, just fun.
