"The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their
mother." -- Henry Ward Beecher

==============================================================

Hello!

Greetings from Estero, Florida!  Sydney and Nicholas did pretty
well on the plane considering neither of them napped.  Thanks to
the subscribers to sent me their travel tips!  We've already seen
the Gulf and been to the beach, and swam in the pool three times.
It feels so good not to have to bundle up!

Have a good week,
Kim Danger

Money/Time Saving Ideas:

Entertainment
My husband loves to eat out.  To save money, we purchased an Entertainment
Book.  It costs approximately $20 and it comes with at least 100 "Buy one
entree, get one free" coupons to both upscale and fast food restaurants in
our area.  It also contains coupons for services such as dry cleaning, car
washes, etc. -- Adriana from TX
*Entertainment books are 1/2 off and ship for FREE through 2/28.  Click here

Grocery Shopping
My Albertson's meat counter puts all ground beef, even the good stuff, on
markdown to $0.99 cents per pound just before they close the meat counter.
They have to sell it or throw it away because they have to make it fresh
daily.  However -- you have to ask for it because they usually don't tell
you. I have them make up about 6 packages for me that way I don't have to
separate it my self & save money on freezer bags too. -- Shelley, 34, from
CA

Decorating
In my son's room we used metal basketball rims with the nets attached on one
wall in his room. I just drilled the nets into the wall at different
heights. I used 3 basketball rims and they are great for storage! Just tie
the net at the bottom for storgage of toys, leggos, dirty clothes. My son
now loves to make baskets while cleaning up his room. I am thrilled the toys
are off the floor, and he is happy "playing" basketball! -- Juliet, 35, from
KY

What's Cookin':  Fast and Easy Recipes from our Readers

Creamed Beef over noodles: Brown 1 pound ground beef. Stir in one can cream
of mushroom soup mixed with a little milk. Let that simmer on low while you
make your noodles. Serve the beef mixture over the noodles (we like to stir
about 1/2 stick of butter into the noodles, first) and serve with a veggie
of your choice. :) Enjoy! -- Jess

Super-quick pizza craving quenchers! Our favourite five-minute dinner,
straight from an Italian kitchen... Sliced bread - in toaster until just
brown-ish, don't toast too much. Lay on baking tray, top with tomato sauce,
diced mozzarella cheese, oregano and a pinch of salt. Drizzle of extravirgin
olive oil, bake until cheese melts and bubbles. Watch them disappear! Serve
with a salad and you have a good meal. Enjoy! -- Fabrizia, Milan, Italy

Real Moms:  Funny Things Kids Do/Say

When Jordain was little (about 3 years old) we went shopping at KMart.  She
was becoming very antsy. I asked her if she had ants in her pants, She
pulled her pants down in the store and looked at me with her big blue eyes
and said, "No Momma.  See no ants in my pants." -- Rae, 33, from MN

Morgan,7, is very dramatic and loves to sing, dance and act; especially in
front of mirror.  It's fun to watch her when she doesn't know I'm looking
but gets embarrassed when she catches me. -- Julie, 27, from MN

My two year old loves Dora the Explorer. Now when he's outside and can't
open the door, he'll stand outside and yell, "ABRE!" -- Gennevah, 29, from
NC

Fun for You and Your Kids:  Coin Polishing

I give my kids, age 3 and 5, a pile of coins and let them scrub them until
they shine.  They each get an old toothbrush, a bowl of soapy water and a
towel.  My son now asks to clean my money now and then!  Why not? -- Traci,
35, from TX
