"If you want children to keep their feet on the ground, put some
responsibility on their shoulders." -- Abigail Van Buren

==============================================================

Hello!

Mommysavers is based in Minnesota, so the Minneapolis bridge collapse
of last week hit a little too close to home.  Several of our members had family
on our near the bridge during that time; one member even had family in the
wreckage.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this.

For more discussion on the Mommysavers families personally involved with this,
visit: http://mommysavers.com/boards/news/42340-minneapolis-bridge-collapse.html

Money Saving Ideas:

Ramen Noodles
There is a great alternative to Ramen noodles called Indomie. It is an Indonesian brand and
they are really good. They come with 4 seasoning packets, including oil and a soy sauce paste.
They are kind of hard to find and you have to usually go to an Asian market to get them. We order
a case at a time from our Asian market. -- Member Vioburn

Supermarket Baby Programs
Many supermarkets will offer baby bucks or incentives for customers to purchase formula,
diapers, or other baby products.  Shoprite has $10 back for every $75 spent on baby products.
I end up getting one almost every 2 weeks!  Does YOUR Supermarket have a baby program? Tell
our readers about it!

Say your dh (or you) were offered an incredible job that DOUBLED the amount of your current household income.
The catch: it is several states away from your family and friends. Everything else is terrific; the working conditions,
the community, quality of life, cost of living, etc. Would you uproot the family for the extra money?
